This is a question regarded to people that think people over 18 shouldn't play MapleStory and to those who think e-Relationships are dumb.

Are you REALLY going to put a age limit on happiness? Are you? If you are, you sure aren't Homo-Sapien.
Telling people to get a wife in real life? You do realize more than half of the community on games are only around the age of 16, but MapleStory mostly at the age of 10-15? Also who gave you permission to judge others lives? You do realize there are TONS of people that don't have a person with whom they live because of some things that make it impossible? Why not go tell them to get a wife, OH WAIT they can't since "things" are going bad for them, while players on MapleStory can't get one since they're not at the same age. Yet you tell younger ones to get a wife? Brain check please.

Actually, Nexon stated last year that the average age for maplers is 17.

I'm 23 and full of mud slung at me. But I just wipe it off and play on. The people who judge me don't know me anyway.

BoringScotty: 1. It's Basilmarket.

2. Like 7 threads ago we covered this.

3. Make a better point.

4. No one probably gives flying damn.

No one give a dam about you.

OT: I agree with u about the age. Anyone should be able to play this game at whatever age. This game isn't only for children. In Japan and Korea many people in their forties play maplestory, everyone who says otherwise needs to grow up.

xIdentity: The only bad thing about an e-relationship is that you can't go on...like a date or anything. Or hug/kiss, or just comfort the other person.
It's like, words aren't enough sometimes, and I want to be there when she hurt herself or needs to be taken care of.

IKR its so.. frustrating >.< especially the 12 hour drives to her house O.O that really sucks. Longer if traffic is light :T Canada from Denver, Co isnt a quick little run to the corner store

I kinda doubt that...

@ Above: Yeah, it would be like 13 hours for me to get to her house, once I have a car and the freedom to do it.

Average isn't mode. A 14 year old, a 16 year old, and a 60 year old make an average mapler be 30. Also people have to lie about their age to sign up if they're under 13, and some of them put in things like 99, etc. The 'typical' mapler is probably 14-16.

Yeah, I know the difference between average and mode, thanks. >_>

I just rather get to know someone that I happen to be around (i.e. a classmate, a coworker, a friend I spend a lot of time with, etc.) rather than just randomly meet up with people because a website like e-harmony says I should. I do not doubt that sites like e-harmony works, but I think that kind of thing is not for me (not the sort of person who wants to go on "blind dates" especially if the person I would meet happens to falsify/not update online profile).

Nevertheless... some maplers have the nerve to ask my age in the game and say I am too old to play? What the heck? Needless to say, I refuse to respond to those people (most of those people are probably in the 5-12 age range). At the people who say "get a life"/"get a wife" to people who are considered "adults" in the game, I am sure you realize that you should practice what you preach.

I think that seems to convey my view on the TS's "points".

It's pathetic to have an online relationship in a game.

I don't believe in them in the first place, but if you decide to have one, USE A DATING SITE.

@ Below, dude really? Your telling him to get a life for not believing something you said? Why dont YOU get a life and that way, you wont have time to tell ppl what to do.

It's impossible to find the link. And frankly, I don't care if you believe it. You keep living in your little delusional world. You need to believe what you believe so that you don't realize what a loser you are. Denial is one of the best defense mechanisms.

They don't have to be romantic relationships. I'll never have a romance online. I don't trust people very easily.
