It seems as though having a ton of mesos is becoming commonplace in Maple these days...
I have never been able to exceed 50mil on my account in the...3 years? that I have been playing.
Anywho, any poor/not so rich maplers come on in.
I want to see how you guys are surviving, because I get discouraged so often...

Silver, I prefer to not spend my money on this game. I'd say I get maybe 10k NX a month.

well i survive by...humm..well i dont really survive.its i get to like 80 and i pretty much run out of money/ways to get money/run out of motivation/give my friend the account/start over and it all happens again xD

If you really want some money, its going to take some time and patience.
And you may become disliked somewhat :3
Make some mules or something, do the GFA quests to get some base money, then merchant in the FM.
As I said, it will be tedious, just make sure you keep up to date with prices and try to get the best deal you can, both when selling and buying, it's how i made my first 50m. :3

Poor atm yea. I can still kill things fine, and I have pots so I just kill bosses whenever I'm on. Bosses, pqs, and brief stints of windraiders to collect their badges :p

The most i've had in 3 years of playing is 15m. I lost the pin for my cleric with 11m and some stuff on it though.

its because more and more people start to buy NX, so more and more people start to get rich.
But there are many people in MS that don't have a lot of money, just because basilmarket is filled with rich people doesn't mean the MS community is.
It should be noted that the general population of basilmarket buys NX and is rich (in terms of mesos)
