Emo/Screamo/Metalcore. What is your opinion on it.

 Note, I said opinion. This is a person's feelings on it, and that is it. I personally do not like it, but I just want to see basil's opinion on it. Not a fan of metal-core. But i listen to every-other type of rock. emo, screamo, hardcore, techno, alternative. Punk, acoustic . All that
edit: when you randomly searched screamo. That band is horrifically horrible. D: edit again: lawl, never heard of Screamotech? D: There are a few, very few bands that are techno rock, believe it or not. And i know, im leaving out about 20+ genres of rock. That is just a small sum-up of what i listen to imzack1: Not a fan of metal-core. But i listen to every-other type of rock. emo, screamo, hardcore, techno, alternative. Punk, acoustic . All that You're leaving out alot of rock, and if you think that's it. I think I will cry, but techno is not rock. Metalcore is good, but it can get really boring if that's the only thing you listen to. It's a pretty generic genre; all metalcore songs sound pretty similar with the screams, breakdowns, and shredding solos. The reason I like August Burns Red is because in their newest album (Constellations), also their best, they're changing their style away from the generic metalcore. It's just a little change, but it's a big difference. Best songs on that album : Indonesia, Marianas Trench, The escape Artist, Crusades
I like it.
But the bands are jackasses. I spat on the lead singer of BlessTheFall once... Personally I like the genre screamo and emo like:
Bring Me The Horizon, Brokencyde, Dot Dot Curve, Attack Attack, Breathe Carolina, Dropping a Popped Locket, Escape the Fate [when Ronnie was still there] The Devil Wears Prada[I really don't know if you consider them screamo but meh] But yea that's just me and I pretty much like any other genre that sounds interesting. I'm listening to it right now.

simple as that? I like screamo, but it depends on the band. Like ESTK.
