Please help, how do you remove muscle spams?

My cousin just had a muscle spasm at my house in carson city and all of the people are trying to get it away, and it wont go away. How does a spasm not go away? He's at the doctor atm. I need some ideas on how to remove this spasm. I know some of you basilers commenting on this thread out there might be the same people that commented on other threads i've made but this is serious right now. I really need some ideas. If you got any that would be great.

Please help.

In a nutshell: To prevent, keep your cousin hydrated. To fix a current spasm, try to gently stretch the out-of-control muscle. Supposedly. You know how that internet research goes, lol. Good luck.
