 About 1 to 2 weeks ago, immediately after the last patch, I decided to create a new character for the purpose of enjoying the Episode 1 quest line. I had this clever idea of naming my new character 'WeBeTrollin'. Note that this is my real main character as of now and I fully intend on using it. As I progressed in the game I considered adding this new character of mine onto my BasilID because I wanted to sell the 10% overall dex scrolls I get from KPQ. Within the hour I added my character onto my BasilID, I recieved a notification for a one week suspension. Apparently the Basil administration believed that adding a character named 'WeBeTrollin' is offensive and violates the rules, but personally I could not find any violations even after I read the rules over several times. I've seen some way more effensive IGNs than 'WeBeTrollin' which I don't even find offensive at all. I added my character for auction purposes and I did not even make a single thread/post before my suspension. What frustrates me even further is that the Basil admins did not reply to my message requesting them to review my suspension. I don't mind getting suspended by error, such as an auto filter system, but at least reply back to me within the 7 days of time I sent my query. This just about ends my rant. Finally glad I can post again and perhaps I'll finally be able to add my new character onto my BasilID? Poll - Back from my 1 week suspension

What is "Your was not suspension was justified." doesn't make sense to me.... Just because his character name is WeBeTrolling doesn't mean he's a troll.
Don't jump to conclusions. Uhm I wouldn't say you deserved it but even by suggesting trolling in your name you put your self at risk for a suspension

You will end up suspended for this. Ironic hey? Also, if a mod deems your Id offesnive, or inappropriate, they reserve the right to delete/ban/suspend you. Honestly, if your ID tells them your a troll, what do you expect? Edit: not saying you are a troll, but that's what it suggests. This is not a report of any sort; it's a rant. This thread itself is not a violation of any rules and it has everything to do with Maplestory as well. Seems like it is in a proper section to me. I understand your position, and I empathize with it, but you've got to admit that you kinda set yourself up there. Trolling has been a big problem recently in basilmarket, and by creating a character with a name that implies it will be used for that, you're just making yourself a target.
Yeah sometimes BasilMarket does un-fair suspensions.
wow u got suspended for no reason...
it doesnt state in the rules anything about IGNS and it so weird that igns get suspened but ppl selling items or NX for money on basil and advertising using referral links don't i reported 2 threads that involve selling or advertising referral links and that was 6 hours ago and the thread is still active kind of tells u something something is wrong with the reporting button it is not working... it is like the reports are flying away or just... being delete when u press submit New Pic: I Got Heart Gold! Here's some personal experience; I recieved a PM by Kevvl earlier that said if i keep putting "~Cora," at the end of my posts, i'll be suspended, personally i didn't see anything wrong with me, but apparently i was told it was considered to be spam. I asked Mrbasil is this could be reviewed and given a better reason, because i put "Cora" at the end of my posts simply because it is what i wish for people to address me, but i recieved no reply. So yeah, might as well suspend people for saying "hey" at the beginning of each thread too = ='' ./end rant. Register / login
