The Lv 100 cannon in GMS requires only STR. So yeah, try going dexless vi123abc: should NOT be dexless....i belieave all cannon require some str?
You make it sound like it's a terrible issue to go dexless. You should go low Dex or Dexless. Theres a lot of things you can do to get STR gear.
Cannon shooters use the primary stat as STR and secondary DEX
