Considering more then half of a Corsairs skills are deleted, you wait and do your build normally.
-Grenade deleted -Fake shot removed -Critical shot removed -Octopus removed -Gaviota removed -Fire Burner removed -Cooling Effect removed -Homing removed -Advanced homing removed -Elemental Boost removed -Octopus Support removed -Air Strike removed -Battleship removed -Battleship cannon removed -Battle ship torpedo removed -Hypnotize removed That's 6 key skills removed from Corsair and the other skills are replaced and act differently anyway except Maple Warrior. Rapid fire better have 300% dmg per shot.

Followed by massive summoning spam. The gameplay seems to stay the same IMO. Corsairs currently get in ship and spam cannon while summoning if you wanted. Summon the nautilus to attack the entire map -Double Lucky Dice (4th): Skill added -Continuous Timing (4th): Skill added. Existing Homing skill combined -Headshot (4th): Skill added. Summon a powerful boss that instantly kills enemies -Facilitation Reid (4th): Skill added. Summon an octopus with various weapons -Pirate Style (4th): Skill added. Attack, avoidance, and resistance is increased -Crew Commandership (4th): Skill added. Crew summoned assemble the crew to increase their attack and depending on which crew member is summoned, a buff will be activated -Captain Community (4th): Skill added. Increases M.DEF, W.dEF, and damage taken to the monster -Magnum Shot (2nd): Invisible shot. Increases effects and damage -Wings (2nd): Fixed the bug where if you jump high, you will glide slow. So corsairs just become another bowmaster with more summons? I hope they make more drastic changes... Revamp is looking like a giant copy/paste so far.
Jarretboyle: unless the summons stay up for a long time like 5 mins + no one is gonna use it much in bossin imo
While we may be changing to Cannoneers, I was genuinely looking forward to making a Cannoneer anyway, so I have no problem. Imo it's awesome that we can summon more. In Outlaw stage, I loved using Octopus + Gaviota, but they were poor summons that didn't work really well. Now as a Corsair, I love Wrath of Octopi. I'm looking forward to it, and either way, we're still a reckless class, if not, more so now, and that suits me. I'm a reckless person.

Pretty much exactly like this hahaI hope they make more drastic changes... Revamp is looking like a giant copy/paste so far. The ship's defense and HP and crap are made up through other skills. I still need a Corsair video to confirm that's how it plays out but it definitely seems this is the route taken now. pedropimp101 The actual summons and their damage is merged from their actual BSC and Torpedo skills, it's gonna be a big focus on summons. There is even a skill that increases the summons attack which gives off a buff. They will definitely be in used based on the descriptions.

To all my fellow corsairs: Nexon did said they'd change everything about us. If you ever saw the sketch pictures from a few days ago you'd know this was coming with all the skills being summon related. Yes I am sad they removed battleship, that was the reason I made my corsair and hit 200, but I welcome this new revamp because it'll give us a new edge. I strongly believe we can actually enjoy the class after this because honestly the summons look rather fun themselves and I'm pretty sure we wont go down by alot for those damage obsessed players since we need to have octopi up at all times while spamming cannon if we want to have the "top" damage which most of the gms people don't do anyways cause they lazy =x Register / login

For all of you who don't know, Corsairs mainly use our Battleship to attack. So can anyone recommend me a good Corsair build so I'm ready when the revamp comes to GMS? Thanks in advanced.
