I prefer pole arms from an aesthetic standpoint alone. They just look better. Sorry. With the exception of the admittedly good looking Fairfrozen, a great deal of the spears just seem uninspired to me. Meanwhile, with pole arms -- well, just look at them! Chelbirds and Zedbugs and Eclipses!
That said, I still wouldn't recommend pole arms since they won't get the speed boost that spears get in some future patch that is taking its sweet time to get here. Don't get me wrong; I'll still use them because they're sexy and long and awesome and inspired and please kill me, but I cannot recommend them in good conscience. I'll admit that the surf board slipped my mind; it's probably because I was thinking about aesthetic qualities when I wrote my post, so naturally a surf board wouldn't come to mind. You're right, though. It's relatively cheap, it's fast, and it can be strong if it's scrolled correctly. My mistake. I just forget about it a lot because it doesn't even look like a weapon. The lionheart partisan, meanwhile, is barely accessible for average players. I mean, don't get me wrong -- it's great and it's pretty badass looking, and it's fast speed. But ... damn. Good luck getting one of those, TS, especially in Kradia. x-x; What was the third? The agares bloody pole arm? I've only ever heard people gushing about the aforementioned two, but I guess if that was the one you were referring to, then the TS can try his best to roam the dead and empty halls of Kradia's PvP for the 30 gallant emblems. Of course, this assumes you were referring to those items and not some other pole arms. Or maybe you were talking about some Von Leon weapon. I'm not sure. ._.

Blasphemy. The Alchupiz reigns supreme over all of them. Don't even get me started on the Fuschina, the smexiest beast of all. While the Bloody Polearm and the Partisan do look cool I feel most other polearms just look like axes on sticks, and if I wanted an axe, I would've made a hero. Though I guess most other spears arreee boring.

Well, the psb is worse than the agares while the partisan is better, so it must be included. ShadowBladex: Question: Does the Dragonic Machelear count as a suitable endgame?
in the future spears becomes the same speed as the machlear. they're also scrollable normally and have more att.
