or is it just an update to make it 3d n we can keep our old character n the cash stuff that we bought..?

It will probably be a new game, and grow rapidly as the months progress. This means they wont let us just jump into the high level content with our old mains.

When Maplestory 2 comes out (if it comes out) I am going to continue the original Maple. Maplestory 2 looks like a bad point and click RPG from that pic. I do wanna see Arans in 3D though.
