Character Cards - Which one?

General MapleStory Forum Talk about MapleStory in general

So I've seen that
Buccs' card adds +2/3/4/5 damage per character level
and
Pallies' add +0.5/1/1.5/2 weapon attack per character level

Is there a difference? If not wouldn't the most obvious character to make for damage be Bucc? ty

Pally card lies, and yes the bucc one is far superior.

Put that way, sounds like the bucc effect is to add directly onto damage dealt to a monster. I know the paladin one is added to range, like I/Ls', but I'm not sure about bucc.

and I also don't get the "Per character level"
does that mean if I have 6 S ranks (2 decks) it would add.... (the bucc) 24 damage? that seems low

No. It means that if you have a lv200 buccaneer, it would add 1k damage, probably directly to the damage dealt. A level 30 buccaneer, on the other hand, would not add 150 damage. It would only add 60 damage, because it's a B rank.
