I'm done flaming the community, let me start on Nexon. I don't know what this is, but apparently God has put some spell on you that makes you think Nexon is a bad company! THEY'RE DOING THE BEST THEY CAN! "Sorry, the server check has been extended for another hour." ANOTHER HOUR! THAT'S 60 MINUTES! Go watch TV, read a book, color, take a nap, do something, but don't whine until you can't cry no more on basilmarket or on the MapleStory forums! "L0L W1Z3T 1S B3TT3R" THAT, is an opinion and won't be fought for. Nexon deserves more hospitality and kindness than what you inconsiderate, useless players throw at them. Take over a sucessful game that Wizet makes, make it BETTER than what MapleStory is with Nexon running it, and THEN you can complain to me. Finally, I'm ending it at basilmarket. Mr.basil, mods, this is a wonderful site, but the community isn't. Can you recall ONE DAY that someone didn't cry because they lost a car, they want to start something that will never happen until it does in real life,or they just want to go crazy and say that their fish had guppies that are now dog-fish living in a computer. Mr.basil, you can do much better. Be MUCH MORE strict on the rules, be MUCH MORE offensive, give LONGER bannings, MORE mods, FIX the filter, STOP the stupidity, because I don't know how basilmarket's making it with this chaos. Sleepywood's much better (only for the community, though. The way the forums look is hideous.) If you read this, I applaud. You're 1 in 3% that will. If you don't, I'm not surprised. Its true, why do u think ms's rating going down, along with the maturity lvl, before it was mature ppl who played, now theres childish idiots. They think they can control ms, they do what they want. They dont care about others. Now ms is filled the most immature gamers ever, if u ask other gamers from other games they will first talk about the community, its crap is what they will say. Immature immature.
I can agree with you on most of the points you have made but you must remember something.When you're playing a game where a majority of the players are teenagers, you can't expect that type of behavior from all of them. Of course there are some exceptions; I'm not saying all teenagers are immature but certainly not all of them act like adults either.
i agree. many ppl think they're too pro so they ignore all the lower lved starters
I really do agree with what you've said, but, it just isnt do-able.At the moment in maple, there's too many pre-pubescent kids running around, thinking they're better than everyone else because they have access to their parent's credit cards, or because they're a higher level. That and if you happen to be over a certain age in maple, you are deemed a "no-life." I remember when i first started playing, the minimum age requirement to play was 13, the worst thing in maple were the old style tricks, such as tab tab space enter and the whole drop game factor. Very few beggers, panlids were the godliest item that everyone had seen, nx-ed players were rare, and there was no free market. But like life, Nexon's prospects for development and money by appeling to a younger target audience (age < 13) eventually reduces the quality for the consumer (us). All in all, one of two things will happen, either all the asses that play maple will move on to other things, or Nexon will carry on appealing themselves to immature kids, eventually leading to maple becoming an online war of racism, sexism and immaturity, at which point every mature player will quit, leading to less people joining maple, less people buying nx, and eventually, the end of maplegloabal.
Aha, this is pointless ... in whatever server/world you go you'll always find those kind of people ... can't avoid them. It's sad but that's life for you.
I totally agree. The community is always leet and other stuffs, but before the real noobs came the community was just normal.
