If you have a friend in the guild they might be able to get you in at 95 or so if your extremely lucky but it isn't common these days." Oh, oops. I forgot he wanted to actually attack it. >.> spiritrival said: "Oh, oops. Just stand in the corner til they tell you to loot XD EDIT: IMO, at least every 5 seconds, you get hit by 1 k damage, and the blood hafs weakens you so you are unable to jump. The regular Haf uses darkness to lower your accuracy. Sky Nest 2 has both of the Hafs. So your going to get weakened and lose accuracy. Also, each time you kill a haf, it can spawn anywhere, messing up your mobs and sniping spot >_> I even tried utilizing it with puppet. Didn't work ._. But it might work if you have a high leveled puppet But someone can prove me wrong. Valley of Antelope It is hella pot consuming. There are those moles that pop outta nowhere and stun you. Theres at least 2 on each plat. Also the Birks and Dual birks have defense up and attack up. It raises their damage by 200. But if you do decide to train there, you must have a high level of puppet @_@ New Blog: whatever
Even Newties w/o Hawk is better >_> I tried there measuring, just for comparison, and it was like 10%/hr until I ended up sniping the bottom transforming one for some reason, and after killing a few nest golems with constant freeze I messed up my Blizzard timing and got OHKO'd. And I kept dying at Valley of Antelope. Yeah Free, I know I'm abusing your sniper, but at least I'm getting a perspective on training spots I could only guess on in the past. (I... epicly suck at gobies.) sapphire8 said: " Yeah Free, I know I'm abusing your sniper, but at least I'm getting a perspective on training spots I could only guess on in the past. When I tried that place for the little time I did it was hard to snipe anything because you had to be on the same platform as the monster, and the only way to securely not be weakned or blinded was to use Blizzard. I personally don't like that map, Birks are ok also. The map right before the 4th job instructor map is ok until you have to go down the ramps on the various platforms, then thats where Bowmen have trouble. The only thing you can do about that is to lure them with Arrow Rain/ Eruption then place a Puppet a little bit away, then just pummel them with Strafes. The other Birk map with the three flat platforms is a little bit better, as long as you aren't soloing it. I say this because the bottom is very hard to manage, especially if you start from the bottom right or left and try to kill the middle bottom. Also the spawn is high so you end up using a lot of potions there. Oh yeah, if you want to get used to Gobies I suggest Squids in the first map as a warm up. Squids have high touch damage when they spawn on you, you get a bit better at swim Strafing/Arrow Eruptioning, and also there are three Goby houses to practice on. It is good because you can learn how to approach Goby Houses, know how far away you should be so they don't activate their Super Defence up and their magic attack while not being bothered by Bone Fish that are really annoying. Also helps on timing your Blizzard when the Gobies come out and using AE agianst them. :D New Blog: GunSlingers
So Sky Nest 1/2 with Valley of Antelopes is a no-no for rangers T_T New Blog: whatever

Now with HornTail its not uncommon to see level 100 attackers (including bowmen) in a zak run. phoenix23 said: "I love the way you worded Pirates Den 3 and AE/AR Hoodoos. Small typo at the end of the Pirate Den 3 notes. mke, should be "make". And there's a faster/better way to get to hoodoos/voodoos than the way you have written down. It's about 5-10 seconds faster, which DOES make a difference when you're racing a training competitor there. It's posted somewhere at AGF... ROFLCOPTER @ Jewties. Kill them dam Jewties. And for 80+ Jewties, training cost is quite HIGH if you rely on Hawk/Eagle. For one: they will NOT have reliable stun at 8X, and probably not at 9X. You will get hit for 2K damage once every few Jewties, and you have to use pots immediately. For two: if you're going to have constant hawk/eagle out, the summoning rocks are going to start adding up. For three: you can't loot without seriously risking death. As for your comments about the Nest Golems... once you're on the "safe" middle two left platforms and after you've started training, you shouldn't have to worry about Nest Golems unless someone else kills the far right Newties. I mean, they're the same monsters, right? Is it just the map layout or something?" The first Squid map is usually soloed were as the second Squid map you'll be in a party. The level is higher because you want to be able to leech exp from your party. Edit: So yes it is because of the map layout, but it is actually not a bad map. I perfer the first map though. I can utilize puppet so well and use the sniping spots that i barely use 50 HP pots per hour. It's usually down by 30. I don't know what the level req would be if you were to try soloing it, though.
