Sadly, I see no other choice than to start charging people to post. Yes, you read right. Each post will now cost 10 cents. You can charge up your account in $5 (50 posts) or if you pay $10 you get an extra 10 posts (110 total). I'm really disappointed to have to make this change, but perhaps some of you will now appreciate that posting on BasilMarket is a privilege. The change will become live as of April 2. Replies

If you (Mr. Basil) were to charge people to post, the forums will surely die out. I'm sure no one would want to pay to be able to express their feelings. I'm pretty sure this was meant to provoke mature responses, but the only positive outcome that I can foresee is that we will see an enormous decrease in posts like "coolLOLROFLMAO YOU STUPID IDIOT?". Otherwise, this is a senseless idea, especially for you Mr. Basil. No one in their right minds would charge real money to have their voices heard on these forums. Hopefully, I did not offend you. Hopefully, again, this was an April Fools joke, like the others most evidently suggested.
Wow, you really had me going for a second. We didn't do a singe thing April Fools at my school so I'm still in serious mode. Until I read the comments I was about to start crying and move to sleepywood. That was good Mr. B... please don't ever scare me like this again until next April!
