How to get better responses from the Tech Forum
Maple story Forums : Maple Story Tech Help & Patches : Talk about problems with Maple Story and Patches Thread starter
2. Give details of your computer when needed. Always state your OS (XP, Vista, etc) and when appropriate give your computer's specs. If a specific piece of hardware or software could be causing a problem, state what it is and don't just say, "graphics card" say the specific model of card. 3. Give the thread title a short description of the problem. Do not call it "Help me, please" or similar. This will just make others ignore your thread. 4. Read the FAQs first. There are detailed solutions to common MapleStory and Gameguard problems as well as the (infamous) "Can my computer handle Zakum?" question. 5. Attempt to solve the problem yourself before you make a thread. If you've been exploring other 'methods of playing' then delete/ disable them, reboot and try again. If you've installed new software just before the problem first happened, try uninstalling them first. Getting a specific error message? Google it, someone else has probably had the same problem too. 6. Do not spam for Mindstormer, others are perfectly able to help you too. Those who can help you are more likely to ignore you if you do so. 7. mrbasil said: "The Maple Tech Help forum is quite clearly marked as being ONLY for MS related questions."
