As SlickSinner is unable to continue updating the thief damage ranges, I am going to continue his thread, giving all credits to him.
I do my very best to keep this thread up to date.
I understand that since maple warrior has come out, some fourth job characters need maple warrior to equip their weapons (maple warrior adds 10% to str, dex, int and luk when maxed). Level 120+ characters only may have maple warrior in their picture. If you do not need maple warrior to equip your weapon, you may still have it on in the picture so as to keep damage ranges balanced and comparable. (Please also post the % boost you got on your stats because not everyone's MW is maxed)
Getting Started
This is an archive of thief damage ranges used to compare your damage to
others. This thread is to help reduce the amount of threads going around
about thief damages. To help make this thread a more accurate way of
comparing damages I need people to provide pictures of their damage
ranges. This thread is for both bandits and assassins, so if you have one of
those characters please send me a picture of your character, with the
damage range and if it is a normal bandit/assassin, a dexless, or a strength
bandit.
Things that should and should not be in the picture
• First off please do not take the picture with any power ups that effect your damage range,
things like rage, warrior pill, drake's blood, etc. If you do I will not put the image up, to try
and keep this all standardized.
• Things that should be able to be seen in your picture: You should be able to clearly see the Damage Range, level, job, and equipment window. If you are an assassin please show your use inventory to show the stars that you are using. plus placing the mouse cursor over the item that most greatly effects your damage. You can also in the picture type in any other things that greatly upgrade your damage.
• If you want to block things that identifies you such as, name, guild, etc. You can block that
out or when sending the image to me in a PM you can request me to block that out, and tell
me what things you want blocked out.
How to get a URL for your image
There are many sites that you can use to host your image, but I find imageshack to be very easy to use.
Here is how to upload and to post/PM your image (I'll add it right away if you PM me).
1. Go to imageshack
2. Browse and open your image
3. Click host it
4. There will now be many URLs, pick the farthest one down and copy it to me in a pm, or post it
in this thread.
• In the image your mouse should be over something that influences your damage heavily, such as
a godly scrolled weapon, equipment, cape, or anything else.
How often will I update individual character's pictures?
I will update your character's pictures as many times as you like, but please have a significant amount of damage.
Eg. Gaining 3 levels, new items.
NOTE: Please make sure that your image gets placed up here. If your picture abides by the rules and you
are not up on the list after I have updated this thread, then send it to me in a PM. Don't post the same image
a second time in this thread.
Rules that you must follow to have your picture up here.
1. You MUST have a picture of your damage range to be up here! You can PM the picture, or post it.
2. No power-up skills are aloud, that means rage, warrior pills, etc.
3. You must have a picture in order to back up your damage range.
(please do not edit the damage range, level, etc in the screen.)
4. You must be able to clearly see the Damage Range and level to be on the list. 5. No Tiny pic urls, posting those urls will get you banned. 6. No Private/Test Server Damage Ranges allowed, I will simply ignore it.
