What are your experiences with cakeboss so far? Replies
umbrella and maple asura from 4 cakes..
I fought 4 cakes but only one of them dropped a maple item. Yes I brought my bad luck there. It was a lvl 43 blunt weapon so I didnt care. Cake boss ftl.

Thats not what people are really upset about, what they're upset about is that Nexon would make such a one sided, lengthy, lagged out waste of time event like this.

Yeah, but it's an event. You think that Nexon would cater to the lower levels.....but they haven't. As it is it's always the high levels (in my experience) getting the drops. Because of this I stopped fighting it cause it has too much HP, takes too long to kill and once people know where it is come flooding the place with high level guilds and so forth. Sadly I haven't even got a Maple Weapon at all from normal enemies.....
I think its just a bunch of bull. Nexon does it on purpose. The more people who see the cake boss and can't fight it, the more people who are going to go out and buy 2x cards more and more so that they can level and CAN kill the boss. Then when those people get high enough to kill it, they will go and make a bigger monster next year so that we cannot again kill it. Only those lucky high level people will be able to kill it. Greedy is how I see it. Its not the players faults.
I have filled up 7-8 mules from killing tons of cakes at Ludi.
I never kill it.. i always get ks'd
killed one and only got some gay maple axe wich is super below wasted so many pots and some apples and ended up getting crap

I didn't know cake boss drops umbrellas =O anyways if cake boss had lower hp and was easier to kill so that lower levels could get maple drops, maple items wouldn't be as special and novelty as they are right now. Then litterally everyone would have them, and they wouldn't be worth anything, just my opinion. I think nexon caters to lower levels in other ways, with new pq's, and a ton of new quests. Another thing, if cakeboss was easier to kill, the lower levels would still be getting ksed by higher levels, except faster, so that logic doesn't work.
i got the drops from cake last night, it was so awesome lol..
well i found a cake boss* and i bombed the crap out of it took me like 5mill and then some nub comes and loots it ._.
Got 4 drops at the same time from it. Maple Umbrella, Maple Sword, Maple Doombringer, Maple Belzet New Pic: Perions also weak summons

I 100% agree with you on this. I've also tried to fight against level 130ish and 150ish... and lost the battle to get the drops. It seems fair. EDIT: Sure im getting a little mad about not getting a single item. but it still fair, most dmg = most drops. |
