because at certain levels you have more skills?or maybe just to make it look more organized.
I suggest you make it even more separate. Split it into Key Settings and Laptop Settings.

As for why classes matter, well, for 3rd job it doesn't really, but I think it's just good information. Why not have it in there? Of course, in fourth job there are obvious differences. I like the way it's organized currently.
how bout adding a special section for game controller settings.

I mean, if I'm all alone in the section forever, it's pretty useless, but if they both get filled out really well then the divide will probably be more worthwhile.

yeah, lazy people around here are too lazy to google image a controller and copy paste their skills on the buttons.

One of these days I might be bothered to clear out the left half of my keyboard controls and try one of these all-skills-bundled-together-on-the-left layouts. The whole jump on space thing seems weird to me too. I guess I just got used to the ctrl/alt/z layout with all of the windows in their default places.
KeysI can jump shoot easily with all my skills with my setting. Oh and I'm using a laptop so they keyboard is crammed lol

Heh, once you pick somewhere to relocate the menus (somewhere that's associated with something, hopefully, and not just random) you get used to it. I put ability menu on semicolon because that's S in Dvorak, which is my keyboard layout. Buddy is still R, but if I have to use R for a skill (it's actually a pretty accessible key) I'll change buddy to O, which is R in Dvorak. World map is on comma, which is W in Dvorak. Equipment, I wasn't so lucky, since E in Dvorak is just D, which is still in the way. However, equipment in Perfect World (another MMO I played for a short while) was on B, so I just put it on B. And that leaves ASDF, WERT, and XCV all free. |
