Nexon does ban from Gameguard logs as well. What does this mean? Don't hack or you're likely to be banned sooner or later once they are able to detect them as times progress. In addition to that, users who are banned (for hacking) should now be REMOVED from the rankings PERMANENTLY. - SourceReasons why you may be banned: • Joy2key: link - It is unlikely you’ll be banned for this, but sooner or later they may well ban for it since they’ve already said it’s not allowed now. (Joy2key is a program which allows you to play games with a game controller). • Holding the Zakum Map: link (Staying in the map so that other groups cannot enter and kill) • Scamming - Screenshot • Your Guild hacks. (Entire guilds can now be banned if they support hackers by having members who are hackers in their guild.) • Hacking (This includes botting and auto clickers) • Ksing Intentionally - screenshot proof • Looting from hackers (potentially anyone if it's maliciously and you get caught being a jerk) • Staying on the same map as a hacker, even if neither you nor the hacker is actively killing anything, merely talking or spending time on the same map as the hacker can result in a ban. (Obviously this would not apply to free market and other highly populated areas, common sense please.) • Cursing - Screenshot • Selling/trading NX in any way • NX Fraud • Leeching off of hackers in any way. (Bottom line - don't party hackers!) • Advertising. (Mainly hacker and game content selling sites, but it could include any) • Inappropriate Character names • Smuggling (This would include glitching)- link link • Other reasons may be listed here: Terms of Service but for the most part, I think I’ve covered most of the possibilities. Please realize that it has been stated by NXJoeW that if you hack at any time and think you got away with it, you can still be banned later, so if you are banned, you better have a good memory of the past. NOTE: FRAPS, any messenger, Limewire, iTunes, or other media players and programs, will not get you banned, Please do not support this rumour. In Closing, keep in mind that there is no such thing as being banned for NO REASON.  If you see somebody spreading a false rumour by making a topic saying they are legit and were banned, they need to realize that many legit's are banned, people are not ONLY banned for hacking. (The ban notice you get if you are banned is not going to go into great detail as to why you were banned). That is, you can be legit, but if you curse, ks, or loot, you may still be banned for it. honestly i don't think nexon really cares, they have like 4 active gms in every world 2 at zakum 1 at maple island and 1 at vic.

There was a ban glitch in affect a bit ago. It genuinely banned people for "no reason". One of my best friends was banned for a "hacking attempt", the ban was supposed to last 30 days. When he filed a ticket, the ban was extended to permanent.Then Nexon put out version .58 or so and he was unbanned =P

You know how much they work? There are only a few hundrends of nexon workers, they have to take care of 5 games that each one of them is populated with over 3 million people. So yeah, how do you expect them to ban everyone? They're doing the best they can and you should be grateful.

Well, this thread is merely a list of things that can result in a ban.
