Tutorial: How to disable Nexon's ad

What? This topic explains you how to disable the ad, which you get to see when you Alt + Tab or use windowed mode. The topic explains how to disable the ad NOT how to remove it. Why? The ad is annoying; The ad is distracting; And some people lagg due the ad. How? #Note: I use a dutch version of Internet Explorer and dont know the exact words. if you cant find the word try to look for something that is almost simulair to the word i used Its nice to know that the ad uses Flash and Internet Explorer to start the ad. 1. Start Internet explorer 2. Go to "Tools" you can find this either on the right hand side of the screen or by pressing left Alt on your keyboard(There will apear a menu) 3. Click on "Internet options" 4. Now go to the tab called "Security" 5. Click on the button "Custom Level" 6. Scroll down until you get to the scripting options link If you use Internet explorer frequently follow the next step otherwise go to 7b 7a. When you have arrived click on "Prompt" belonging to the item "Active scripting"This will ask you everytime when a website uses Javascript if you want to allow it or deny it 7b. When you have arrived click on "Disable" belonging to the item "Active scripting" 8. press "Ok", a window will pop up asking you if you really want to change it click "Yes" 9. Press "Ok" again to save the changes. 10. Start maple and enjoy mapling (as you can see the ad turned white and has been disabled) Incase you already have maple running, restart it Who? If you use Internet Explorer for browsing the web then yes(this tutorial disables Javascript), Thats why i made a 7a and 7b (if you use 7a then it will ask you when you visit a website which uses Javascript if you want to allow it or deny it)

I didn't read reposts but I just wanna say that there aren't any adds on EMS when you alt+tab o_0
If all this is to disable Javascript, then for Firefox users just go to Tools and click Content. It'll say "Enable Javascript" just turn it off when your playing Maple.

im just wondering i got rid of the advert using your guide, but now theres just a white blank banner sitting there any option to get rid of that?edit: nvm i just read the top of the guide, an it says how to disable it not remove it xD.. i guess i gotta learn2read gg me. self pwned =[

I'm sure to remove it completely, you could un install internet explorer, and just use firefox.. But maybe the ad would hten use firefox. Tough, huh? And thak you.
