Maple's windowed mode messing you up? Come.

Feel free to PM me if this thread does not solve your issue. I've made the mistake of not being clear about one thing. Administrator rights, you need them. Administrator rights, you need them. This better do it, for the most part. I might of mentioned this somewhere else in my guide, but I don't care. People tend to fail at reading when the important stuff is in between too many lines. VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE GETTING GR2D ERROR AS SOON AS YOU PATCHED You NEED Administrator rights. I proved it on WindowsXP SP3 Professional. You CAN NOT play MapleStory AT ALL on a LIMITED account. I'm serious. *UPDATE: No longer sure of this with the new patch. *This issue transcends Service Packs for XP and is also the same case for Vista. AS OF PATCH V.57 We cannot control how maple starts through the registry. It will ALWAYS start out fullscreen. LOL THAT AD IS ANNOYING LOLOLOL@%#$& You can't disable the ad through the registry. Stop asking. You can disable it, though. Note: Only content will not play. Window form will remain. Random crashes? This isn't exactly your problem? Patch screwing with you anyway? 1. Uninstall MapleStory. 2. Start>Run>regedit. 3. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SOFTWARE>Wizet>Maplestory. 4. Delete that folder. 5. Reinstall MapleStory. This is just in case there were some issues with the keys in the registry. Even when you uninstall maple, the registers stay behind in case you reinstall to keep your settings intact. Doing this will allow a fresh install, letting fresh keys to be put in place. Disablingthe AD. People are also reporting problems directly caused by that new, annoying ad. You can disable it. Note: This will only stop the content from playing. The window form will remain. You can't remove that, though some people claim to have killed it with the Task Manager. I didn't see the 'ad' under active applications and Maple's processes are hidden by GameGuard, so iuno. I liek your face. WHERE I GETZ #@^&%#&!five Mu Lung. Male Face JP[1]. End. Enjoy. someone help me on window mode. It says I need a higher screen resolution, what should I do? right clicking my desktop and changing the screen resolution on property settings does nothing. Email me back, 500k for accurate help, thanks ^^

i downloaded the patch regularly, (not going to the manual patcher) and my maple is still in fullscreen. does that mean somethings messed up or what? i really dont want windowed mode. fullscreen is way better anyway
i know how to get rid of add on vista-- when u close the game press Ctrl+Alt+Delete go to start task manager and find the one named ad click it 1 time and then click end task it should close iv done it with the game runing and it goes away with no problem so have fun with that if ur on vista not sure about xp but might be the same
Whateff. I remembered wat happened. I tried to disable my ad using task manager and it worked but after I closed maple and reopened it, it just closes 2 seconds later. And I did redownload it but it still doesn't work
mine doesnt work when i try to download it it says cannot import C:/inetdownloads/fullscreen.reg: not all data was written to registry some keys are open by other system or processes

I've been having a problem where I think Maple is screwing with my internet in windowed mode. When I'm running windowed mode, Maple runs for no more than an hour and then my internet shuts off and I need to restart my computer. I know it's maple because I can stay on the internet for hours, but then when I'm on Maple it shuts off.

Export the selected branch and save it. Post it on a site for DL. I didn't feel like doing it. Email me back, 500k for accurate help, thanks ^^" 1024x768. Color depth has been seen to cause issues. Only choose one divisible by 8. Maple's window will run in 800x600, so your resolution shouldn't be 800x600. You might as well play in FS if that is the case.

" Well, it's only been happeniong to me since I've been running Maple in windowed mode in the new patch, and something similar happened on an old computer where it would give out until Maple shut down then it would start back up. If Re-installing it doesn't work, and then it happens in fullscreen mode, then I guess I'll have tp stop playing Maple on this computer ): By the way, your face creeps me out D:

It's getting old. New heatsinkplx. I'm not sure if it's the whole windowed or not thing. It might be the ad. People have been getting all sorts of things because of the ad. Give that a try." It was a laptop, but that might've been it. I've ran Maple for about 25 minutes now, it's going fine. I was having another problem where when I ran Maple a notice would come up saying "Host proccess for Windows has to shut down" or something, and that's stopped. I hope I can keep running Maple in windowed mode because I've been watching Gurren Lagann while I play. |
