We need someone to maintain Basilmarket's Zakum schedule. You will be maintaining schedules for channel 5 on all worlds that are in need of schedules (the more recent ones probably aren't). Please post here if you're interested. Please do not spam us with PM's (really, don't send us any about this).

Applicant Requirements:

Mature
Responsible
Un-biased

Schedule Requirements:

2 hour time slot limit
No helm, skillbook, or other untradeable item selling.
Slots are allocated in a first come first serve manner.
Window for requests be at least 2 weeks.
All slot requests are public.
Slot requests are submitted with the character names of all participants
Players can only be registered to one time slot at a time.
All participants must be on the rankings.
There are to be no permanent, automatic, or rolling time slots, or any method of automatically assigning a time slot to the same people.

Please keep in mind that if you are selected, and abuse your power, your schedule will be voided.

2 hours for zakum is way too long, it should be more like an hour. Is there a minimum limit as to how many players must be in a run?

Also sleepywood is already known as the holders of the alter schedule. Why should basil be able to take that from them? And not selling zhelms/skillbooks? LOL! Like that will ever work out. You won't be able to even fill the schedule without people who want to sell untradables."

IIRC, Basil actually gets more traffic than Sleepy

And this is even with people getting linked to Sleepy for Maple info

I would say a mod is the best fit to run the schedule. That way they can manage the schedule of the thread itself. But can I ask where in any of the rules, zhelm selling, which is completely legal by nexon's standards, are illegal on basil? It just sounds like alot of mod opinion being forced on to us. Helms are apart of the Zak experiance. Basil's job would be to moderate and host the schedule. Not to dicate what the groups can and can't do with their drops during their kill. Jw...."

Helmets and skillbooks are labeled untradeable for a reason. It's out of the spirit of the game to sell them, a bannable offense according to the ToS that is enforced at least in MapleSEA. It is not merely our opinion that they shouldn't be sold. If you really want to get down to it, excluding people who are not on the ranks and some of the other limitations are greater offenders on that matter, but you did not complain about them. Most people who support selling helmets and skillbooks only do so because it's an easy profit, which isn't a good reason to support anything.

Anyway, there need to be some preparations before we even decide to move this forward, if we do at all.

As for just using the schedule on sleepywood, I'd rather that schedules not be imposed on most of the channels by people on one forum. They have no official standing and do not speak for all players.

and you guys don't either.

Seriously am I the only one who thinks that every 5x and their party will be crashing runs from Sleepy, using this retarted schedule as proof of their ownership?

Sleepywood has the high levelled community. You guys have.... maybe 100 people tops 120+?

Actually, most high level people use basil for auctions and just don't post.
And as for the level 50s crashing Zak- they won't be able to kill it and'll get frustrated after a bit, and I believe there's now a timer where you need to summon Zak within 15 minutes of entering the altar.

unless you're gonna make a special zakum subsection (like the bowman forums, general forums, etc... make a zakum one) with stickies in it under each world, this whole idea is pointless, no offence. you would need at least one person per world, just due to the fact you're making it so it's not permanent slots and updates will be extremely frequent (like maybe every 12 hours or so)

the actual zak schedule is like a table of contents - all it does is point somewhere else in a document. and unless it has somewhere to point to, then what's the point of the table of contents?

the schedule in and of itself doesn't mean jack. in case you haven't noticed, under party central there is each individual groups run.

the SW schedule doesn't say anything except the current timeslot and leader of the run; you have to go to each group's thread to check whether the run is full, who the other runners are, who gets what drops (like i get bow expert 30 and hamstring 20 whenever they drop with my group), how successful they are, what to bring, etc etc.

that all being said... i am not applying for this, i have more constructive uses of my time than dealing with an immature base of posters ( not to be based on level, but i have seen entirely too many threads from lvl 70~90 people thinking they have a shot at damaging zakum... when zakum is a level 140 monster). not only that, i could only keep it up until university starts again T.T

edit - and apparently there is 13 pages of posts, but only 6 show up. that's exactly what i mean about the immaturity.

So what if they crash? You'll only get set back about 20 minutes tops unless they're all HP Warriors.

Omar I'll do it. But I'm going away on Saturday for a month. Can I still get the position?

I'm confused as to why everyone thinks the two schedules will coincide and interfere with each other. It is NOT difficult to go to SW and make sure times dont clash.

And you seriously think that the they will go to all the effort.

This thread practically screams "I want this channel leave."

The purpose of the thread is to find a zakum schedule maintainer, not to flame BasilMarket. If you want to complain, make your own thread.

I would be more than willing to do that very simple task to ensure the two schedules can exist and work well together. Heck, I can name off more than half the groups and their times at the top of my head.
