Thread starter
It seems like we're kind of non-existent but with all of the support we've been getting lately, I thought it wouldn't hurt to make a thread to see if any are out and about yet. So lemme know, Mkay? Third job advancement video link For people curious about my damage link Lv 45 with a bunch of my friend's Shield and WG--crazy +Atk link Lv 50, regular equips--still using a crappy Dex WG link Lv 60, 6 ATK WG, a couple of points of Luk on the cape, first picture with my hot 7 dex 12 jump 2 luk Blackstraps link Lv 67, 8 atk WG, 3 Atk 8 dex PAC, and GM Bless link Lv 70 before Job advancement, but I don't feel like logging on to get a post-advancement shot. Btw, my friend took back his PAC, so my damage is gimped. =( link Lv 70 before Job advancement--with an Onyx Apple. xD link Lv 70, with Z-helm, no pots on. Builds for people who have wondered Well, it all depends on what you want to use in first job: daggers/double stab or non-daggers/disorder (which is the way I went). Daggers/Double stab wise you'de want minimum Str for your daggers and as much Dex as possible. Since Str and Dex give the same attack boost to dagger damage--however Dex also gives avoid and acc--it's kind of a no-brainer, Dex > Str Non-daggers/Disorder wise (AKA: My Build), you want to do the "Beginner thing" and follow a Warrior build--which is why my Dit has 145 Str. However, eventually you have to cap your Str and start adding Dex since your accuracy will begin to get crappy because of thieves having different accuracy formulas from the other classes. But from there on it's pretty much Dex, dex, and more dex. Skill build wise is pretty much up to you. Daggers/2S in first job is quicker than non-daggers/disorder, but Disorder's w. def and w. atk decrease effects are really nice to have later on--and to act as a support dit in places you really can't train by yourself but can party at. Especially since 2S becomes worthless pretty quickly. And 1st job takes..what..3~5 days of leisurely playing? Mastery isn't needed very quickly unless you're lacking Acc or are using some Luk Equips. Booster's always nice to have, though. :D Steal is still useless. Endure is hot. The main thing to really ask yourself skill wise is--Do I want to go Haste first or SB first? All I have to say is--if you're gonna CPQ, get Haste and spam whatever level of disorder you have as a support dit. I've won plenty of 2v2s and 3v3s that way. Replies

archsavior said: "I have a question: Do you think this will work with sins? I know their lucky 7 formula heavily depends on luk and all but what if you went full dex? And good job getting this far, btw. Very funky" It works, but the damage is horrible. L7 isn't possible, since it's entirely dependent on W atk and Luk. Drain is possible, but don't expect it to drain but about 100~150 HP per use. Critical, of course, making the build just slightly possible. In theory, the build works, but you have to understand that at max it does half the damage that a Lukless Bandit can do, which occasional spikes where it does close to Lukless bandit damage. Then again you have to take into consideration that all the time that W. Atk is your damage. W. Atk is everything to a Lukless thief. At level 64, with clean equips, a Lukless bandit can have 71~80 W Atk on their dagger (Depending on if they're using a super below Coil, or a perfect coil/Asura/Dark mate). At level 64, with clean equips, a Lukless assassin can have 33~37 W Atk on their final weapon, the Skanda, and even with a perfect Skanda and Cilbis, they'de only have a total of 66 W Atk. And thats not even taking into account W. Atk shields/Khanjars and Work gloves. So, if you have a lot of funding and want to try it, go for it. But the bandit is seriously the smarter way to go. =/ Edit: Then again, Assassins in theory are supposed to be quick and stay in the background, spamming a lot of skills. So if you want to go for it, the range and speed probably make up for the damage loss. Especially once you hit 3rd job and get to abuse Avenger, Shadow Partner, the damage boost from Shadow meso, and all that neat stuff. My favorite shield is in the picture also :3 j.k but i do plan on making one =P New Pic: my bro
Nah, Ill probably hit 75 and then Pirates'll come out. Switch to my Gunslinger, and everyone'll pass me. ;D But just remember who did it first. <3 that would take like a year though =P New Pic: my bro
BTW lvl 31 :D what are their attack ranges? higher or lower than lukless dit Poopehh said: "Why would you go LUKless? o.o" Cuz he can, and its freee OneAndOnly said: "i'm just wondering, because i never saw perma beginners and battle mages(mages who uses the mace, and maple weapons and only add to str) what are their attack ranges? higher or lower than lukless dit" Their damage ranges are technically better in the damage range part of the stat menu, however they don't get to abuse skills to actually consistently do good damge. A Beginner and battle mage at level 70 would roughly do anywhere from 200 to 1.5k or 200 to 2k maybe. A lukless bandit at level 70 hits 480~520 damage--however, with SB they do about 2.1k~2.3k per SB. My skills: 20 Double Stab 20 Disorder 10 Nimble Body 11 Dark Sight I wanted to have disorder just to weaken stronger monsters and (if I ever get high enough) I'll take points I was supposed to put into endure to NB then maybe Dark Sight. Otherwise, the traditional build would also work for Double Stab Lukless dits. For training, it's simple as to when you can 2hit octopus with Double Stab. Otherwise, it's when you can 1hit Slimes. "Caution: Falling Down" will be your training place for a long time. When you can, stop leveling Double Stab and then save up points until you get to lvl 25 and get your next equips. Depending on your funding, it can be as early as 15 or 20. But when you hit 25, try to put enough points into Double Stab until you're sure you can 1hit the octopus. I'm actually still training my Dit at Octopus. It's actually not too bad of a training place. I'm trying to think of other training places. I'm thinking of training at Horned Mushroom for awhile. Hey InBomb do you remember when you trained from lvl 30 onwards or did you CPQ? |
