Why am I weak?

So, I don't understand why people call me weak, I thought I was average on my page.
13 att scg 16str top 100 att 11 str rohen 3 att 6 str pac 3 dex 6 slots rss and my base dex is 95, is it because of my dex or what? Replies

Most warriors would tell you that DEX caps shouldn't go higher than 80 base DEX, but since you're already at 95 base DEX, just focus on getting STR equips only. That will help correct SOME of the damage difference.

If we are getting time temple, i see some problems in the future with dexless and accuracy.

they r str overall scrolls now so ull be fine
well it doesnt really matter now but i think its kinda good u got the extra dex cuz ur dmg will be stable. swords are ment to be weaker and more stable and i guess u can use the extra dex boost.
Sure, having more DEX will make your damage more stable, but that's because you drop BOTH your max and min damage compared to someone who capped their DEX earlier (1 point of DEX will bring up your minimum damage, but not NEARLY as much as the same point into STR would). The ONLY reason to add DEX is for the increase in base ACC (1 DEX = 0.8 ACC), since none of the major equips for a warrior require DEX (sure, Taru Capes and Stonetooth swords need DEX, but you can make up those requirements with your equips).
If you are thinking about stability, Str adds both max and minimum damage, where as dex adds some minimum damage, so STR would actually not only make your max higher, but your average damage in general. I don't recommend completely unfunded players to go even as high as 70 base dex (unless they plan on finishing off with a Stone Tooth sword, but even then that's the tops if you ask me). You can still be very strong and fighting nearly on par with most low dex/dexless characters considering you can get your hands on some nice w.atk/str gear, but the thing is you'll be a step behind the ones who can manage similar w.atk and str gear while having enough accuracy. I'd start over since you're still just a Page, but that depends on whether or not you are a hardcore grinder like I used to be... if not, then just continue as it's not too big a deal.

If he knocked his dex to a more manageable level (lets say 60), thats 7 whole levels he's behind other, normal dex warriors. 35 points of strength, for me at 87, is like almost 500 extra damage per hit, not counting FA or elemental charges. And from what I hear, the damage per STR increases as you get more of it. I just think to back when I was 80, I wasn't even hitting for 10k! Now I'm smashing Duals at 12k per hit. Thats alot less damage to be doing just because you wanted an extremely high dex. Maple's been out for awhile. Its not like there's 17 different builds to make 17 different kinds of WKs. There's pretty much one build to the most effective WK, and that build relies on STR, not DEX. If you're not aspiring to be the most effective WK, then do NOT enter topics discussing the pros/cons of being the most effective WK. Just becaue you wanted to do it the hard way/ lazy way/whatever way does not give you a right to belittle the people who want whats best for their character. Register / login
