Pirates are already out? Dam, I didn't quit for that long have I? Back to the thread: If I am going to make a infighter, this build is the one I'm going to use. Sounds very well thought out" This thread is supposed to help everyone who WANTS to make a Pirate when they come out. @ts good guide i plan on making a infighter when they come out I have clicked the thumbs up and hope that this gets stickied. If i wrote that long paragraph again though would you add it in the guide dae? :D and i made my own infighter build D; it's slightly different from yours o.o Screw punch vs. backstep blow. It seems that these two skills are very similar in initial use. In their later uses i want to say that it becomes dependent on the situation but i don't have a pirate yet so i couldn't say for sure. Later on i would say that screw punch is for powerful and quick mobbing while backstep blow is used for it's stun crit damage. For this comparison i want to simply compare them on the basis of my screw punch /(backstep blow)training method in second job. Now, backstep blow according to the skill tables does 88% damage for 12 MP at level one and has a range of 140% while stunning the monsters for one second. Screw punch on the other hand at level one costs 20 MP with 100% range (this on the other hand is changed to 200% range at max level while backstep blow doesn't change) however does a whopping 135% damage however this is when fully charged. For my training method i suggest you max backstep blow in place of screw punch. My reasons for this is that with backstep blow you're getting the full % of your attack without charging up while stunning the monsters at the same time. An alternate (possibly better alternative) is to put 3 points into backstep blow (104% damage) and proceed to max out screw punch and mastery. Backstep blow is much weaker then screw punch at all levels but you have to charge screw punch meaning the damage from a .2-4 second charge could very well be under 104% so this way you can get a full powered stun mobbing skill (perfect for my training method) while still being able to use a (albeit slower if you're charging all the way) very powerful mobbing skill for CPQ (or for those breaks in mobbing where you have to walk a certain distance before you meet more enemies, but this doesn't seem to happen too much in 2nd job training). Opinions? it appears that we aren't getting pirates for summer break part II *tears* *wants infighter* ... D; work on it so I know how it ends >=O New Pic: my nephew ME and 2 friends
