ive died there under EVERY conceivable option IMAGINABLE: with a dk, without one (but another attacker still), with a dk/hermit; with MG, with MG&HB, with just HB; with stuff running as well as MS, and with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (and i mean that, i went into task manager and shut down many things with names i couldnt read, and explorer.exe too i ended). im done with himes. not worth the deaths. "its the best exp for a priest" only applies if you manage to live. screw them in the rear with a rusty umbrella you dam disgusting creatures. my new plan: get to 75 at h/voodoo, then WS til 80, then goby til...iuno, whenever people stop going to gobies to train...hell if i know. >_> then after that, i have NO idea whatsoever. If you do not like it, do not go there. Try going at a higher level. Obviously if you cannot survive there, you cannot train there. This thread is pretty much useless, I see no point in making it.
try going around 10x+ why go at lvl 74? u barely get to leach and if u want decend exp u have to atk the hime's.

I survived theer at 71 dude....2% per minute....Now I can solo. Best EXP around and good at conserving pots.  Just wait 'til 92, or whenever u max HS amd SR, it'll be cake.

This thread is pretty much useless, I see no point in making it." its a rant, thats the point in it. besides, you ask any high 7x or 80-low 8x priest, and you ask them how many times they are at least asked to himes, or have heard of priests around their level going there to train. i dare you, go up to an 8x priest, and ask them if they hime and if so when'd they start. but other then that, thanks for the useless semi-flame/bump. Since you have that high HP low INT build, himes should be easy for you. Get a pet with auto MP and go with magic guard. If you still can't make it, try replacing your staff with a maple wisdom staff and other HP equips for 1.7k base HP, and thus enough to survive two hits with HB.
I say vHoodoos until 75 or so... maybe Death Teddies until 80, then maybe try Black Kents until 90. I think you're a bit low-level to even attempt going to Himes yet.

By 90, he should be considering soloing himes. It sounds like a stretch, but it's actually much easier to survive himes with MG and telecasting SR than it is to spam heal partying. And its not very expensive either.However TS, I advise you to reconsider your dragon build in favor of HS and SR first. Dragon is nice, but it is an accessory skill and the money you use on rocks is better spent on pots if you have difficulty surviving.

EDIT :: if need be i can still incorporate my dragon build with getting SR. itll require some tweaking after 86, but thats nothing major. (86 = maxed HS with the build im working with.) I also heard that you were considering moving to Khaini? You could always MCPQ on your spearman and scroll the necklace yourself. The easiest way is to buy a 60/60 1 slot and then get 40 CP to scroll it yourself. As for your dragon build, heal is okay to train with, but by 9x you'll really want SR. Heal does around 2.5-3.5k per monster at that level, while SR does 4.5k-5.5k. Also SR, unlike heal, you can telecast. |
