C.M.I. stands for Creative MapleStory Items If anyone would like to join my contest or is interested in joining, please post here or help me advertise this contest! This is my first time hosting a contest lol. For those of you who want to enter without having a profil3...Your entry MUST be from the following image hosts: Photobucket, TinyPic, or ImageShack. You must also post that you are entering my contest in this thread only (including your entry) if you plan to use image hosting sites. Huh? What the heck is this? Where did you get this idea? I've seen so many people dropping their items in MapleStory screenies in such a creative way and I like seeing them. So of course, I thought I should host a contest to see more creativity from people. :D (If you don't know what I'm talking about, please check the C.M.I. contest examples from me >_<) OMGWTHBBQ WHAT ARE THE PRIZES? (sorry attention grabber here) You will have the chance to win a free art request from me. Whenever I submit my art onto Basil, I always receive PMs from random people asking me to draw them and I deny their requests. I barely take any from random strangers so here's your chance to get an art request from me! This sounds pretty cool, are there any specific categories? Yes, there will be 3 categories to choose from to enter; Funny, artistic, and creative. *Funny means you are adding a sense of humor into your screenshot in some way with your items (E.g: Having your character look like it's wearing a skull). *Artistic means you are submitting your entry just for the looks by your items (E.g: Going by color). *Creative means you are entering your screenie with items dropped in a creative way (E.g: Real life situations, sports, food). What if your entry was a combination of the categories? Just choose a category that you want to enter in. If something is mostly made up of that category but it has a little bit of another, then enter the category that is mostly made up from your screenie. (E.g: Someone enters a screenie that is mostly made up of an artistic way and it has a bit of creativity. That person would enter his/her screenie into the artistic category just because of their screenie is mostly made up of an artistic way) LOL sorry for my horrible English. =( Are we allowed to include other people in our entries? Yes, as long as they're cool with it. =P How will the entries be judged? The entries will be based on votes; if I do not get a great significant number of people voting, then I will be judging the categories myself. Will there be any prizes? Duh, of course! One winner will be selected from each category, with their choice of an art request from me (must be appropriate for all ages which must not contain any violent, gore, racial, hatred, or sexual themes; it can't be anything too hard that's beyond my skills). It can be a drawing of your MapleStory character, someone else's MapleStory character or even a drawing that's not related to MapleStory at all! =O Can I vote for myself? No, but you can vote for other people. Reason: It is considered cheating in my contest to vote for yourself, it's not fair to everyone else. How do I vote?
