This is a rolling archive of different Archer Key Settings, maintained by Me. Good way to check the key settings of other Archers, since a thread seems to come up every week or so. For the most part, I try and update as soon as I get keys.
Why...?
Archers have the most skills that are used on a regular basis, so sometimes it's hard to figure out where you want your keys. This thread is here to help anyone who needs to add a new skill, or even change their key settings entirely.

A Few Simple Guidelines

Very Important
If you use macros specify what each macro does. I will not accept screenshots with non-specified macros
• Although it is not mandatory, It is prefered if you say where your fingers rest. Please do not PM me your hand positions, as I will not post them if you do. If you want me to post your hand position, type them into your chat-box on the SS

• If you are able to Jumpshoot alot with that key setting, then please specify that.

• Please specify if you use a Laptop.

• Feel free to send me a new key setting if and when you change your keys, but please don't send the exact same setting twice. If the new setting is similar to an old one of yours, I'll replace the old one with your new one at request.

PM me!
It's ALOT easier to check my Inbox then it is to read all your posts, so pleasePM me and I'll add your keys.

Screen Shots ONLY
I can't put up a long list of people's settings, so please, just put in a screen shot of your keys. I'll put in your class, level, and a picture link.
Example:Level 37 XBowman
If you want, I will edit the screenshot that it only shows the keyboard settings, like in this picture
Here's a quick guide on how to get a URL for your Image:
1. Go to link
2. Browse and navigate to your photo, than click open
3. Click host it
4. 4-6 urls will now appear (not 3, scroll all the way down!), pick the bottom most one and copy/past it into a PM to me.
• Please note that some settings do not specifically say that you can jumpshoot with them. This does NOT mean it is impossible to jumpshoot with that setting. It is possible to jumpshoot with ANY key setting, as long as you have the right timing and/or keyboard. The settings marked as jumpshootable are simply ones that the poster recommended as being jumpshoot-capable.

• I will not accept 1st job key settings. There aren't nearly enough skills in that job to need key setting guidance.

• I DO accept Cygnus Key Settings. Send them over!

Mini Guide: How to Jumpshoot

Jumpshooting is easier with certain keyboards. Depending on how easily your keyboard responds to button presses, Jumpshooting may, or may not be possible or easy. Jumpshooting is when you press Attack and Jump at the same time, causing a minor glitch that makes both happen at once. Unlike Assasins, who attack mid-jump, Bowmen attack at the beginning of their jump, and lift off the ground while shooting.

From what I've observed:
• Laptops seem to be easier to Jumpshoot with. This may be because the keyboard is completely flat, and all keys are evenly spaced, because the keys are softer to press, or simply because the keyboard is extremely close to the CPU, so the key presses are registered faster.
• Wireless keyboards are generally considered to be harder to Jumpshoot with. Personally I am able to jumpshoot BETTER on my wireless keyboard, so I wouldn't say that's true. It really just depends on what keyboard you have.
• From personal observation, Ctrl, Space, Alt, and Shift are extremely sensitive keys when it comes to Jumpshooting. My key setup has Bliz on Space, and Jump on C, and oddly the only skill I can 100% JS with is Blizzard. I also noticed that when I changed Jump to Ctrl one day, I could 100% JS with every single skill I have.
• Some European keyboards have a key called "Alt-Gr". When you press AltGr, it hits both Alt and Ctrl at the same time. Should you have such a keyboard, putting Jump on Ctrl and Attack on Alt would give you a 100% Jumpshoot with AltGr. (Only works with Jump on Ctrl and Attack on Alt, so says this dude).
• Also, check the Archer FAQ section on Jumpshooting for more info.

Mini Guide: How to use a Joystick to play MS

Yes, it is possible to use a Joystick, a Game Controller, or pretty much anything with a USB port and buttons to play Maplestory. It's quite simple, really. First, you need to download this. Next, you need a USB controller. You can buy one at most hardware stores that sell electronics, Radioshack works, even Wal-mart might have one if you're cheap. Personally, I recommend using a controller to your favourite Game Console. You can get a wired Xbox 360 controller, or PS3 controller from any game store (Sorry Nintendo people, there's no Wii controller with a USB port ). Plug in your controller, and install it.
Now that you have both Joy2Key, and your controller installed, open Joy2Key. You won't be able to open Joy2Key unless your controller is plugged in, so make sure you've got it in there before you continue. Starting out, Joy2Key should look like this. Starting out, it seems fairly easy, but leaving it like this will provide problems. First off, click the 'others' tab, so you can change a few crucial settings.
Number of Joysticks to Configure. You can leave this at 2 if you like, or put it to 1, or any number imaginable, it really doesn't matter, unless you use a second Joystick option to Jumpshoot (Will be explained later)
Emulation Method. If perchance Joy2Key doesn't work for you, just click the other box. Self explanatory.
Axis other than X&Y. If you have more than 1 analog sticks, or your controller happens to feature L&R triggers, this is crucial to check.
Diagonal Inputs as a special case. Useful if you need a few more buttons, you can set it so that pushing Left+Up is a different button. For example, I could set movement to the basic directions, but make diagonals my potions. You could have fun with this one . Please note that if you set axis other than X&Y, you can only use the diagonals with a D-pad.
POV switches. If your controller has a D-Pad, as well as an analog stick, you'll probably want to check this box. Starting out, everything that can be pushed in a direction (Any and all analog sticks, Joysticks, or D-Pads) will hit the corresponding arrow key. If you wish to mix things up a bit, you should definitely check that box.
Threshold for input. Very important if you have an analog stick of some sort. Without this set to at least 10, the slightest movement will send your character running at full speed in some direction! The % that you set is how far you have to move the stick or press the button before it activates. For example, with it set at 50%, I have to move the stick 50% in a direction before it's registered as movement. Don't set it too high, or you won't be able to move, but don't leave it at 0, or else you'll go flying at the slightest movement.

Since I will be exploring all of the features of Joy2Key, I selected all the boxes for this tutorial. It should make your configuration look a bit like this. To figure out what each button does, go to your control panel, and find the option for game controllers. Under the 'test' option, you should be able to see what each button or stick does. On Joy2Key, the axises correspond to analog sticks and triggers. Play around with that, and you should be able to figure out what does what. It changes depending on the controller, so I can't explain further.

Setting Commands.
To set a command on your Joystick, and make it correspond to a key on your keyboard, simply double click the button you wish to set. You should come to a window that looks like this. Under the 'keyboard' section, you can set your commands to keys, and even set a repeat rate. Up to 3 commands can be set per button. Personally, I give all my attacks a repeat rate, so that I can spam a skill without having to press the button repeatedly. Under the 'mouse' you can make it so your Joystick also changes your mouse movement.Personally, I'd recommend using a mouse if you have one. The final tab 'special', enables your button command to change Joy2Key itself. By selecting the option 'Use the setting of the other Joystick temporarily' you switch from whatever set of commands you have now, to another set of commands in the same configuration as long as the button is held. You can have up to 16 sets of separate commands for the same configuration, determined by the 'Number of Joysticks to Configure' in the options menu. The alternative to this is the 'Switch to other configuration file' which switches from 1 of your configurations. Unlike the first option, this option completely switches you over to another set of commands. It is recommended you place a button on your alternate configuration(s) that switch you back to your primary ones if you use this option.

Jumpshooting with Joy2Key.
Yes, It's possible. You could just setting Jump and Attack to the same command, but that would make it so that you always Jumpshoot. There are a few methods to switching between Jump-Attack, and regular attacks. First, you could set different buttons to Jumpshooting. If your controller has a ton of buttons that you can't use, this is a viable option. Second, you can create a second Configuration, and set a certain button that switches to and from that configuration to your normal one. Think of it as a caps lock for Jumpshooting. Third, you can set your Jumpshoot commands to a seperate Joystick on the same configuration, and set a certain button that temporarily switches to that configuration. Sort of a Shift key for Jumpshooting, as long as that button is held down, you're on a different setting.

Notes:
• If you're playing on Vista, you must set your Joy2Key program to run on Windows Service Pack 2, and to run as administrator.
• When Jumpshooting, you must set Jump as the first command, and attack as the second.
• All Joy2Key configuration files must be in the same folder as your Joy2Key program.
• More information can be found here.
• Using a Joystick to play Maplestory is NOT a bannable offence.

One version of Maple (KMS or JMS) has Joypads built in.
NXJoe has stated that using a Joystick is perfectly fine.
It's undetectable anyway.
No one's ever reported being banned for using a Joystick.

Kevvl: Some European keyboards have a key called "Alt-Gr". When you press AltGr, it hits both Alt and Ctrl at the same time. Should you have such a keyboard, putting Jump on Ctrl and Attack on Alt would give you a 100% Jumpshoot with AltGr

Sadly, this isn't true. Alt Gr only uses the jump option. At least for me. (Tried on 5 different keyboards.)
