He got a chance to finally go visit Korea this year after 7 years. My grandparents are pretty rich and they used to buy us a lot of things when we were kids So I can only guess how many clothes and luxury goods my grandpa bought for him. He told me that he bought him a $700 electric shaver so that alone gives a good enough estimation.

anyways, I dont really care about that stuff so I didn't think much of it.

but today, when texting my mom to arrange a phone call with my grandparents, she told me to make sure I thank them for the money.

i was like "what money"

and she said "brother didn't tell you/give you the money?"

wow. I am seriously disappointed. All he did was buy me a $180 shoes after he got back. i disliked them so i returned the shoe and bought a $100 one instead. then i gave the $80 back. that was it and I didn't think much of it. I thought it was nice though. He quickly mentioned that he bought it with the money given by my grandpa. but I thought it was more like "hey, make sure to buy "aerial" some stuff with all the money i've given you, right?" and he chose to buy me shoes. I definitely didn't think it was like "hey, can you pass off this money to aerial as my gift to him?"

Knowing my grandpa, he probably gave me at least $500 or more.

the fact that he hid money from me like that when he has like 10x the amount of money than myself due to him being 25 makes me angry and sad. he is pretty wasteful with his money as well and buys a new phone every single year.

i seriously expected more of him. if I was told to pass off money from my parents/grandparents to my brother, keeping it for myself wouldn't even have crossed my mind.

i feel pretty betrayed. I talk to him almost every day through text and play games with him. if he did this when he was like 16, it would have just been another day. but I really, really thought he was a good person now. i guess i was wrong.

how would you feel about this?

I think your brother's sense of entitlement is right for himself. In fact I am more like jis personality since my sister was going to buy me a high gigabyte touchscreen hp laptop but ten she chose not to buy me it because touchscreen was new. I didn't get very angry. The point is tat, you sound like my sister when she asked me, "Well, what are you gunna go if you don't have the thing you Might be Ocd without? How are you going to live without it?" Your brother and I would both probably say "As long as I don't get mentally tricked into being angry for not having said money or money-infused item, as in capital, then why would I care? Because long-passion-infilled care is a trick that collectivists think will not be cured with pouring government money into the hands of lawful adult citizens for them to invest by not illegally investing, but rather supplying the high end, or the 800-2 thousand dollar feeling of having reliable income without working be possible by digging the money into the ground at scouted places very simply with a hand-shovel."

the answer of what to do is obvious. steal his half of the money plus interest then buy him a pair of dollar store shoes with no receipt and say it's from grandpa

I would feel the same, to be honest, but i wouldnt make a scene out of it. It sounds you love your bro than for anything to change between you two bcuz of it. I would just casually mention if grandparents gave him money to you. And then later call your grandparents if they gave you money. Or maybe call grandparents first to get info from them and then ask bro. Either way, i think ur brother needs to know this is wrong and you finally figured him out about this situation. Be mature about this and just talk this through with this. He's your brother and you know best he is just human after all.

Fight him. After all that training lifting heavy apples, you're stronger than him. Beat him up and make him spend the money he stole on hospital bills.

My bro got injured a year ago and couldn't work, so I bought him a ps4 so that he'd cheer up. Sucks that your relationship with your sibling is so poor.
