I still don't understand why they think the 3 m.att difference (ignoring enhancements) between wand and staff is something that even needs balancing. The cost between the two is even more negligible

Dropping a skill because of lag is one thing, but dropping a skill just for the sole purpose of being able to solo one single boss is incredibly stupid.

Heal. DoT will still hurt him, though. Although it has to be a DoT that can be dealt without doing damage to him (if that makes sense), which leaves you with Poison Mist and/or Flame Gear.
