General Jett

Jett Class Skill Build Other people seem to be making these. This one is different because instead of just throwing points out that look right and following normal MS customs, I'm using a damn calculator to maximize damage as quickly as possible. AP BUILD Treat Jett like you would treat a Gunslinger as far as AP goes. I prefer STRless, simply because statless weapons are so easy to come by nowadays, and by the time a gun with a STR requirement comes around that would out-do your statless gun (most likely a Legendary Maple Firerunner) you've probably got good enough equips that you have enough STR to equip said gun. If not, then at THAT POINT is when you want to be adding Str. It's ALWAYS easier to ADD AP than to remove it. Removing i

How do the Demon Lash upgrades work, mathematically? Demon Lash is 100% + 100% + 180% + 270%. I get that, it's awesome because you get knockback on most if not all of those hits and they hit so fast it feels like one attack that hits for 650% damage. It's amazing and all, but how do the upgrades work? The Lv 30 upgrade says +40%, but is that to EACH HIT? So 140% + 140% + 220% + 310%? Or each time you do damage? So 140% + 140% + 260% + 390%? That seems kind of OP. Is it just a flat +40%, taking the total from 650% to 690%? I'm just not sure on how the math applies, here. If I had to guess, I'd say it's +40% to each hit (so +160% total) totaling up to 810% in 2nd job, then +80% to each hit (+320% total) totaling up to 1130% in 3rd job, and +1

General Blazewizard

Blaze Wizard 3rd Job Math I think the Blaze Wizard guide that is pinned in this forum section made a mistake. I'm proposing that it increases your damage more to put your 1st point into Fire Strike, but then immediately max Ele Amp before maxing Fire Strike. Every point you put into Ele Amp (after the first 1, which goes from 100%->112%) increases Fire Strike's damage % by 2% of what it says it is. So if Lv 1 Fire Strike is 376% Damage, and you put your first Lv 71 SP into Ele Amp, Fire Strike becomes (3.76 * 1.12) 411.2% damage. So now you're level 71 with 2 SP and you don't know where to put them. Let's look at the three possibilities. +2 Fire Strike (3.88 * 1.12) = 434.56% +1 FS +1 EA (3.82 * 1.14) = 435.48% +2 Ele Amp (3.76 * 1.16) =

General Dualblade

My Chaos Plan: My Own Personal Thief World. I think I'm going to use the new Chaos server for 3 Thieves...I'll start with a Night Walker so I can get to 80 for the earrings and the +16 watk from Empress's Blessing. Then a SinDit since it's the most fun from 1-80. Then I'll make a Dual Blader which will basically become my main, since I'll be able to get the Holy Wing Earrings, Explorer's Cruelty Ring, and Bloody Mask all on the same character. I'm just not sure if I want to make the DB my lv 50 jumpstart character or keep it at Lv 1 and then get a Lv 50 Evan with the extra slot in the same world just so I can get those Onyx Glasses on my DB. I think I'll do that. Do you guys have any weird plans like this for the new world?

General Dualblade

Maps that are great for most classes, but suck for DBs. Have you ever noticed that in those "Where to Train" guides there are a lot of recommended areas that just plain suck for the Dual Blade style of play? I know that, at least for me at lv 70+, most of the "recommended areas to train" were difficult to maneuver around because a bunch of small platforms/obstacles blocked my FATS, lowering my XP/hr. Has anybody else experienced this? The best examples I can give are Roids, thanks to all of the smaller platforms (you end up getting stuck on them with FA) and MP3 thanks to that damn hummer and the little stacks on the right side of the bottom part of the map. So, I guess what I'm going for here is, if you've dealt with th

General Windarcher

Is the Maple Pyrope Bow the ideal endgame for Wind Archers? Not only does it allow you to stay completely strless but it's got Fast (5) speed. That makes it the highest level fast bow without a str requirement and it isn't all that difficult to get, at least until the Jubilation event is done. I feel like there should be some way to tell when a bow with a slower speed is better. Is there some kind of rule of thumb, like how much more atk a slower weapon needs to have in order to be considered better?

General Dualblade

Productive night? I think so. I've had kind of a weird night tonight. I have this Blood Dagger that started out @ 97 atk that I found during a 2x event from a Broken AF Android that I scrolled 4x with 60% scrolls and succeeded on 3/4 of them. So it was 103 atk, which was decent, sure, but at the same time I'm rocking a 107 atk Varkit that I passed 2 10% scrolls on, so it really isn't that great for me. I figured, "what the hell, it isn't doing me any good taking up an inventory space, and I don't want to sell it...20% scroll." It passed. So then I finished it off with 2 60% scrolls, 1 of which worked. If you're keeping up with the math, this formerly useless (to me, at least) Blood Dagger now has 112 watk and blows away my Varkit.
