Did anyone else notice that the "Mapler appreciation" events... are all designed to get people to buy more nx? 1. 3rd monster killed exp boost: sell more x2 cards. (because people want to double the benefits). Admitedly somewhat of a stretch, but I do think its funny that x2 exp coupons came back RIGHT as nexon started dishing out a ton of double(and more) exp events. 2. "Free A rank nebulite" (and Free nebulite diffuser.) There's a reason with drug dealers the first hit is always free. Nexon has officially become no better. Give a taste to get you kids hooked. And if you're one of the people lucky enough to get the free A rank nebulite, I guarantee it will be a crappy one.. Just to con you kids into buying alien cubes t

Best nebulite for my dagger? Alright. I have sworn off from nx entirely, and I don't typically have a ton of mesos... I have resigned myself to have a B rank Nebulite on my dagger because i refuse to reward Nexons greed by buying into the scam, and I'm pretty broke because i havent done any merching lately (and have no real plans to start merching either) The only question is *which* b rank nebulite should I use? total damage 2%? ignore enemy defense 15? or some other? Basically, which *B-rank* nebulite is the most useful to an "end game" shadower.

Taunt is a completely worthless skill I know in a month or two this will all be moot (for shads anyways) as taunt will be removed from our skill book... But this has been bugging me for quite a while. I keep hearing people say that Taunt is better than Ninja Ambush. And one of the stickied shadower guides even states that Taunt should be maxed and Ninja Ambush shouldn't. For whatever the reason, some shadowers today seem to think that Taunt serves some purpose, and no.. it really doesn't. Here are some facts about Taunt -It does not work on bosses-AT ALL (including boss tagged monsters/party play areas/i.e. anywhere you'd train over 120, the earliest you can get the skill, and that isn't even considering that you probably wouldn't be maxing

A more detailed look at the Bandit revamp. Opinions Welcome [header=whatever]Intro: (Aka, Skip This Part)[/header] Greetings Fellow Shadowers of Basil, it's Fhyl once again. It has been a few months since information on the Thief/Pirate revamp was released, and it seems that people have been talking about it extensively ever since. I already made one thread about my immediate(general) thoughts on the revamp, But I recently decided that I wanted to make a more in depth version of my opinions, getting into how I specifically felt about each change, along the lines of what my fellow shadower LatinBandit did in his thread. (which I highly recommend you all take a look at, it's much more informative than this piece of junk will be). I will be di

Least used weapon type, Most worthless weapon atk scroll My guess is 2 handed blunt weapon. Heroes typically use 2 handed swords and 2 handed axes Pallys typically use 1 handed swords and 1 handed blunt weapons Dark Knights use spears and polearms Arans use polearms Demon Slayers use 1 handed axes and 1 handed blunt weapons All Mages use either staffs and wands, pretty equally all things considered Bowmen use bows Crossbowmen use crossbows Mercedes use dual bows Assassins use claws Bandits use daggers Dual Blades use daggers and kataras Buccaneers use knuckles Corsairs use guns

The Real reason for no Happyville this year As most of you no doubt know by now, Nexon chose not to include Happyville in the "Christmas" patch this year. I've been seeing all kinds of wild theories flying around as to why it was excluded. (Mostly along the lines of "people were offended because of CHRISTmas" ) That reason in particular is silly, as Happyville does NOT celebrate Christmas, but Maplemas which has literally no religious connotations at all. The real reason is far more simple: Happyville isn't in KMS.* And moreso than ever this year, GMS has become a straight up copypasta of KMS. Yes my friends, the reason is good old fashioned Nexon laziness. I'm not particularly upset about the loss of Happyville myself..
