Returning After 4 Years Hello there everyone, I have been away from MapleStory for 4 years now and I recently saw (via Google Ad) that they were having an Ultra World Leap where I could move 12 characters over the course of the event to another world. I have all of my characters in Khaini. I have been in Khaini since 2006 when I made my first MapleStory friend (MidKnightHun) and the two of us both got to Lv100 together in 2007. She stopped playing in '08 but I continued until about 2010/2011. Now I'm sure all of my MapleStory friends have either also quit (I'm in Law School now!) or have gone so far in the game that they've forgotten about me. Do you guys still find the game enjoyable? Our Main Mobbing Skill amp Bossing Skill So, post-RED, what skills should I be using for what? Single Target: I'm trying to decide between Rapid Fire, Headshot and Battleship Bomber. I have all the relevant Hyper Skills for Rapid Fire which also buffs Battleship Bomber and all the relevant Hyper Skills for Rapid Fire (including 0 CD!) but I don't know which is best. Multi-Target: Trying to decide between Fusillade (ELE) and Battleship Bomber. Something tells me Bomber is better on multitarget bosses but my primary concern is about NORMAL mobs (HoH, SH, Twilight Perion). Does anyone know if the buff applied from Crew Commandship (+30~45 Wep. ATK) applies PER summon so summoning 2 different pirates would give +90 Wep. Atk in total and once on
Cannot Sign In I'm having an issue where the game is not letting me log in. I've tried opening MapleStory from the game launcher and the website. Whenever I type in my information it just spins as if it's loading and does not progress. The game does not even bring up the hackshield. Is anyone else having the same issue?
One Giant Maple World I posted the link to the content I'm referring to above and you can find the paragraph I'm talking about in the first few paragraphs of the page. Essentially, Critas is an area where all the MapleWorlds are joined together. What are your thoughts on this? I for one an ecstatic which is rare because I typically hate every update.
Superpower and Persona If you could choose a superpower and a persona to go along with it, what would you choose? I'd choose to be an assassin with the ability to manipulate vibrations in the air. In doing so, I can make relatively small areas soundproof (no one inside the area can hear anything) which lets me sneak up on people and take them out. My persona would care about money and the thrill of the hunt more than anything else. In particular, I'd find people my greatest prey. I'd come off as dull, boring, lacking excitement and somewhat depressive in appearance. Your turn.

Demon Avengers Damage Forumla Can anyone clarify a question for me. I was looking at the Demon Avenger Guide and I saw this formula for his/her damage: [CurrentHP / 9 + STR] * 1.3 * WA / 100 Apparently, Demon Avenger's damage will decrease as he gains more STR but that doesn't seem to make much sense because it's supposed to be his secondary stat. Can anyone explain this or have I just lost my mind?
Clarification of Absolute Ring Event So there is a lot of confusion with the absolute ring event and I would like to clarify for you guys so that people can stop being so confused. First and foremost, there are three phases. Phase 1: July 3 ~ July 14 Phase 2: July 24 ~ August 4 Phase 3: August 19 ~ September 2 During each of these phases, you will be able to receive and upgrade ONE and ONLY ONE ring. For example, during Phase 1 you will receive Evo Ring 1 and you will have to upgrade it 11 times to get the fully evolved version of that specific ring. During Phase 2, you will be able to receive Evo Ring 2 and upgrade it the same way you did Evo Ring 1. The problem is, once Phase 1 is over you can no longer upgrade your Evo Ring 1. This means
Starting Over I'm seriously considering completely starting over and I'd like some advice from those of you who have either done something similar or just want to give some input. I'm starting over because I've gotten bored with Khaini's community, my Corsair is as fun as conversation with a stump, and I'm interested in meeting as many new people as possible. Inflated Tempest Gear Can anyone shed some light on why Tempest equipment has suddenly spiked in price? I saw people selling 6% Str, Luk and Dex gear for 40~50m, 6% HP stuff for 15~20m, and 9% stuff selling for oddly high prices. I was thinking people are anticipating Xenon and Demon Avenger but there are better equipment to buy and not everything has inflated nearly as much, even where it makes more sense, like Empress for Thieves and Warriors.
Areas With Potential Nexon said that they would like to hear more from their players when developing updates. What areas of MapleStory do you think have potential to be re-vamped? I think instead of re-vamping jobs we should re-vamp areas. No one is ever going to be satisfied with their job because they'll always point to another that can do something as well or better then complain about it but if we re-vamped some of the areas instead I think that would be great. For example, I think adding in a Pierce, Slash and Smash stat would be nice. Just like how certain monsters resist certain types of magics (holy, fire, ice) there could be different types of physical attacks.
