Your Headphones thread What kind of headphones do you have/use? -Is it better to have cheap($10+) multiple headphones or a quality build headphone(beats) for $40-50+? -Would it be a better idea to buy extra pairs of cheap headphones in case they break; or if you break them easily from stuffing in pocket, gym, workout. Or do those pricey quality headphones "last longer" I think they're that price because of sound quality, not durability. -Is there a type of headphone where the end cord that connects to your device, that makes it last longer? Some reason my headphones from before, one ear stops working from moving around too much and adjusted the cord at the end. -Would a curved end cord, or straight be better/worse? -What type of s

Defective Pixel on New Laptop Display I have had this new Asus x551Mav laptop for about 5 days so far. First day it was perfect, nothing wrong with screen, functioned 100% like a brand new laptop should. I have downloaded anti virus and spyware on the first day. Superanti sypware and Avast. I did not click any bad links or contracted virus I am sure of that. There is no lag at all to the system, EXCEPT when loading videos in 360,480 quality and loading a sports blog site with lots of comments. But here's the problem, it all started one day when I went to nba website and clicked on an article. As I was reading the article I scrolled down to the comments. Now note that nothing was loading, this is in the firefox explorer by the way. All of a

Brand New Laptop question? I recently purchased this new laptop, an Asus x551MAV. It's processor is Intel Celeron, 2.16 ghz, 4GB Memory, 500GB HD. When I first opened it, it was brand new fresh and worked perfectly. No issues whatsoever. Used it a few times for basic things, music, videos, mail, web. Did not get any virus or malware. Then today I noticed while reading some news on MSN, I noticed there was something black, spots of pixels flashed; which I noticed with the side of my eye. It wasnt directly at me. At first I thought it was my eyes being blurry, my vision but it wasn't it was the laptop screen. I checked another site to see if it maybe was just that site, but even on Youtube searching some videos..randomly that black spot pixel

Laptop Processor question? Hi, so I have questions about laptop processors because I'm not a computer tech so I don't know that much about this stuff. -What is a Processor? -What types of processors are there? -What is the list from worst to best.(Intel Pentium, Celeron, i3 etc) -(relates to question 1) Which processor would be required for gaming, and if you attempt to game on a weaker processor what will happen? -Does a better processor mean faster, smoother performance in wifi, clicking folders, etc. Bonus question, rate this laptop: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-15-6-laptop-intel-celeron-4gb-memory-500gb-hard-drive-black/7288011.p?id=1219262036899&skuId=7288011&st=computing-20140706&cp=1&lp=1 Pro's and con

Help with purchasing New Laptop So I'm not a very techy guy, and quite frugal when it comes to buying things. My recent laptop used was a 300+$ Acer laptop. It was thin and lean, all black. Screen was wide and keyboard was nicely spaced out. I'm typing on a Sony VIAO and the keyboard is very small and jammed... Anyways, I was wondering what laptop I should buy online (or instore) if anybody knows good places. What brand, the functions, the lifespan, the feel/usage, compatablity, versality, DVD usage, components, etc. for a reasonably affordable price. I would say around $150-300+around there... I'm not looking to buy some small mini laptop notebook from Intel... I want one similar to the ACER I had, but a different kind. Any suggestions, th

Sony Vaio problem, C Drive 0 bytes after restored So when the sony VAIO laptop had hard drive issues, I asked classmate to help fix issue. Restored and pressed the red-Assist button to restore the hard drive. It worked, erased all data and back to factory settings. But there were still issues, cannot download anything... anti-virus's, firefox browsers, etc. I checked the computer>C:Drive and properties on the disk. It said 0 space available and 0 used with 0 bytes. When I tried to double click the C:Drive Local disc, a window would pop up saying "Location not available- C: is not accessable access is denied" Any help, thanks.

Network theft, through Psn. Help So my internet was fine until yesterday I played this guy on Nba 2k14 on PS3, no lag or any problems with network connection. Then when the game was almost over, I suddenly disconnect, the game saying the server is down and unavailable at the moment. Then I check my modem, to see that the DSL light is flashing and turning red. The 'Activity' light is constantly flashing green, so is the Ethernet. Later I sign back in to PSN, I checked my messages...and it was that guy I played who messaged me saying " y u mad -my wifi routers name-" How is it possible that this guy somehow stole my information through PSN, and mess up my internet networks DSL connection? It works for a little while, very slow and c
