Growing facial hair is like going through second puberty I am 20 and just started growing a couple strands of thicker-than-peach-fuzz facial hair on my chin. I still don't even have a proper mustache though. No hair below my nose. This feels like puberty all over again. It actually feels even more weird because both guys and girls grow hair in their pubic areas/armpit/etc so even when you grow hair there, you know that it happens to everyone. But growing facial hair is pretty much exclusive to men so it feels kind of strange.

Why isn't whistling considered musical? Why don't we have whistling and stuff in high school bands and stuff? It sounds just as good as any woodwind instrument. It has a unique sound and differs from individual to individual. It takes a huge amount of practice to whistle really well. Singing is respected. Whistling is not. Why is that? listen to that dude. His whistling sounds so pleasant and gives you a goosebump just like any other "real" musical instrument can. Is it because it's doesn't look cool?

So apparently people have internal monologues I just found out from reading stuff on reddit that people rely on internal monologues to process their thoughts... But isn't that incredibly slow? like for example, think of grocery items to buy for tomorrow. Do you really have to think "ok let's see... I probably need a can of beans, tomatoes, beef, etc oh and some sour cream too" or like... how to get to your home from work. "Oh I have to take the 44th bus then turn right and walk down for a mile" my thoughts are just... thoughts. abstract thoughts coupled with some visuals. But I never form words in my brain. for grocery items, my brain just goes into "what to buy tomorrow" data mode and thinks of items to buy. And for getting home from work,

Super easy way to trim your own hair This only works if your hair is half an inch to two inches in length. Did you just get a perfect haircut two weeks ago and want to restore your growing hair to that same length? Wait no more! Take hair paste. It needs to have a matte finish and not make the hair clump together. American crew fiber is really good. Rub quite a bit all over your hair. Spike your hair up perpendicular to each hair root. (don't spike your entire hair in a certain direction) Take a scissor and take an equal amount of hair off of every hair. done.

what should i do so at work the company outsources cleaning staff and gets some indian people as cleaners. no one really talks to them. they just walk around the store and clean. last week a new indian cleaner arrived. she seems to be about my age. (19) She is a straight FOB indian I think. English isn't very good. Probably came from some Indian ghetto last week. I actually kind of feel bad for her because all the other young people are either cashiers or department staff. she walks around with a broom and it must feel kind of demoralizing to be the cleaner. Everyone ignores her. all the cashiers talk to other cashiers in the breakroom and you can kind of see that she wants to be friends with them too. Anyways, she looks so cute! She has bl

Do asians just not develop facial hair? I am 20 and I can't even grow a light stubble. I have exactly one strand of semi thick chin hair. then like 7 "thicker than peach fuzz but still soft" hair. My moustache has stayed the same since I was like 18. Some soft hair on the sides that doesn't get longer than 0.3cm and no hair below the nose. I am not complaining because I don't think facial hair would suit me. but is this normal? it's strange because my leg hairs are pretty thick for an asian. My arm hair has virtually stayed the same since I was 15: soft and velvet like. But I noticed that I am developing some peach fuzz in the middle of my chest in the last few years. so it's not like I completely lack in body hair.

So apparently cooking things are bad for you I can't even enjoy grilled meat, roasted chicken, nuts, butter, cheese and billions of other things on this list: or I suffer from pre-maturing aging, inflammation, oxidative stress, collagen stiffness, protein turnover resistance, and wrinkles. rip in pepperonis because i used to eat like a slice of pizza everyday in my freshman year of college. life why do thou have to be so cruel and god forbid you eat more than one strip of bacon. that's like a death sentence in AGE levels.

Is eating an energy or granola bar for breakfast bad? There's just no way I can get myself up 20 minutes early to prepare breakfast everyday. But then I always become super hungry during my commute. So I end up grabbing breakfast from mcdonalds. I'm trying to stop that. So it struck me... energy bars would be an amazingly convenient breakfast! It takes literally 5 seconds to "prepare". You can eat it in one minute. Or enjoy it slowly in your bed while you are half asleep. If I choose an energy bar with less than 7 grams of sugar, high in fibre and no trans fat, it should be a decent breakfast, right? How about something like this? is it too much fat? edit: NVM! I ain't paying freaking $2 for a 35g bar.
