Returning Mapler, having a hard time picking a class Hey, guys. So I've been away from Maple for a while. I'm looking for a class to invest in, I came into a windfall of a decent amount of funds and I have some time on my hands. I made a wild hunter and got them to 140, but somebody told me they have some pretty serious nerfs on the horizon. I have a shadower at 150, I'm not opposed to maining that but I felt I reached a wall with it where boss times were a little depressing. I already have 50% luk gear but it's the 140 set, so I'd probably replace it anyway. Last time I played, phantoms were topping the charts. They look cool, but I never really got into them. Finally a BM is something I've always sort of wanted to play but never got aroun

New threads and the swear filter So, I think we need to talk about this. Has it been a common problem that someone goes into a specific warrior section (say, hero) and then decides, "Hey, I really want to post in the nightlord section"? If it has, that explains why you can go into a specific class forum, hit new thread, and then have to pick again where you want to post. If it hasn't been a common problem, then it needs to go. If nothing else, default to the forum that "new thread" was clicked from, with the option to post elsewhere. Simple stuff. Next is the swear filter. I recently posted a thread regarding SW gear, and, surprise! I was actually cursing! It's a good thing Mr. Basil foiled my efforts to curse at an unsu

Help with a decision So, I'm currently trying to make a decision... I have a +10, +102 w.att and 5 stars lionheart 1h sword. Soon, I'll upgrade it into a SW 1h sword, with those stats. Should I sell that, get a fafnir 2h sword, and work on perfecting it? OR should I put the money that I was going to put into the Faf 2h into buying a SW set? The w.att on that set is pretty good... While we're on the topic, how much would that SW 1h sword go for (in broa, preferably)? Around 5b? Penitent tears seem to be around 2b at the moment, and scrolling probably another 7b. So, if that's right, it'd be ~4b out of pocket for the penitent... And hey, Basil, when we're not allowed to say the name of an in-game item, your filter MIGHT have gone too far...

Stuck in Monsteropoly map Welp, nice going, Nexon. I'm glad you got into online games rather than building materials, because your work is never double-checked and often is faulty... Anyway, to leave the Monsteropoly map, I have to accept something in my etc. tab. Except my etc. inventory is full, and you're not allowed to drop items on the map. Declining my reward leads to the NPC saying "Well, let me know when you're ready to leave," and the whole process starts over again.

Nexon really dropped the ball on this event Neat chairs: Check. Appreciation of long-time Maplers: Notably absent. This is what KMS' recent anniversary looked like. Where I'm pulling my point from is that Maplers were given a medal denoting their years of play and one of the central event mechanics was difficulty adjusted based on the lifetime of your account (I.E., points you gained for one aspect of the anniversary were multiplied by your years of play - and the rewards for achieving different tiers of points were pretty good). I'm kind of surprised that GMS left that out, but they're not as keen on making players happy now as they were

Help an old Mapler get back up to speed Hey guys. So, I'm an old school Mapler. I started playing years and years ago when I was in grade school. I played throughout high school, and then stopped. I'm in college now, and I'm coming back for a bit of that sweet, sweet nostalgia, and because my laptop doesn't run much else... :/ So, overall, what's new? What's up with the three ghosts that are following people around? What do guilds generally do now? Why is the free market dead? What's the "level to be" for most things now (I.E., when can I go on the fun, super-planned boss runs)? Anything else of note you'd like to confide? Thanks guys! Edit: Oh, and what's the best profession? I thought smithing, but I don't really need to
