Piano players Do any of you guys play the piano? If so what pieces are you learning? What music do you like to play on the piano (classical, newage, ost, pop, etc.) Currently I'm learning rondo a cappricio and I prefer to learn classical music now because it's helping me read sheet music better. I wanna join piano competition but I struggle with playing in front of people and being able to master pieces. Do you also struggle with reading sheet music and playing in front of people? Discuss.

Virginity being a negative thing Why do we make a huge deal out of people who don't lose their virginity? What's the point of talking about consent and then pressuring some one to have sex. If you're going to pressure some one then doesn't that defeat the whole purpose. We put so much on sex that if you're not having it you're a loser. We as humans (not everyone) think it's sad for some one to die a virgin. Virginity has become such a huge deal that we no longer have privacy because people are so nosy. Why does it matter what some one is or isn't doing? Why are we putting down people who wait for marriage and calling them christains in a negative way. We talk about sex and consent in schools but we never talk about the possible ways you cou

People who wear makeup How do you feel when girls wear makeup? If you wear it yourself how do you feel and what is your favorite pallete? Are you good at makeup if you've ever tried putting it on for events/cosplay/makeup artist etc? Do you think that people wear makeup for themselves (If you do or don't state why or why not)? These questions aren't limited to male or female. I just want to have a discussion about how people in society (basil for now) feel about girls or boys who wear makeup. This is due to the controversy surrounding if they wear it for themselves or to impress other people or both. My opinion on this is that girls can wear makeup whenever they want regardless of the situation. I feel that they get shamed for wearing/not w

People just wanna see you fail Why do people have to be so rude and judge someone for liking/not liking something? Why is it if someone doesn't like something then people who think of them as weird act as if their superior? Why do they still bash them when they've done nothing but simply discuss their comforts and discomforts? Honestly I'm not talking about the ones who judge silently and express their opinions on that person. I'm talking about the ones who think of themselves as more superior because they think they're right. I'm talking about the ones who judge you down to your very core and tell you that you CAN'T like this or that. The ones that judge automatically by just looking at them or their social class and tell them that they ca

Learning a new language Ok so I've been trying to learn korean now and I'm not too bad at it I guess given that I can read the characters. But whenever I tell someone I'm trying to learn the language, I automatically get called a koreaboo. I just don't understand how learning it makes me one. I don't really listen to too much korean music. The only korean group I like is Urban Zakapa. I also don't even watch korean dramas. I started learning it because I wanted to be able to learn another language other than chinese because the classes I take are only at school. But since it's summer the classes weren't available for me to take. Also I was thinking about learning arabic but it brings back bad memories of something that happened on social me

Deep chat about the interwebs Since i've been on the internet for a while I've realized that there's so much drama that people cause especially on youtube. You see people complaining about someone else and offending them when they only believe what the media tells them. They threaten to hurt them physically and use vulgar language thinking that what they say is right when they don't even know the whole story. I know that this is how people are, but does this bother you guys too?
