Quitting Maplestory So I've been playing Maplestory on and off (mostly on lol) for 8 years, and this game--as sad as it is to say it--has been a big part of my life. I've been playing since v.016 and I've seen this game transform drastically over the span of 8 years, from the introduction of third jobs, to big bang, and finally, to the maple world that revolves around potential, profit, damage, and bossing. Now don't get me wrong, This isn't one of those "maple-isn't-what-it-used-to-be" threads; I am deciding to quit once and for all, not because of what the maple world has turned into, but because I believe Maplestory has finished its job of keeping me company and entertaining me throughout my adolescence and now I think it's tim
Evans Dragon Mount Okay I swear, a couple years ago, when the soaring skill for mounts came out, Nexon said that Evan's dragon mount could fly through the sky like a helicopter using the up/down/right/left arrow keys--or just float in mid-air. I know they can GLIDE through the air like a demon slayer using Dragon Flight, but weren't they meant to use the soaring skill, but were unable to? I thought Nexon was supposed to fix this mistake and they still didn't get a chance to fix it. Or maybe they were never meant to soar in the first place, but I strongly remember getting mad that I spent 50m (which was a lot of money to me back then) and not being able to use the soaring skill on my dragon mount... :/
Scrolling tyrant equips So I bought my first tyrant equip and WOW, I did not expect the star force enhancements to be so expensive, not to mention that it starts off at a 50/50 chance of downgrading or upgrading. I used a 2-star enhancement scroll and my tyrant cape is now 2 stars; I want to know what is the best/economic way to go about enhancing my cape to, say, 10 stars. :3 I'm willing to spend about 2-3b (hopefully less) on getting to 10 stars. Any suggestions?
Superior Gollux equips What's so good about them? The difference between the superior gollux set and the reinforced gollux set is only 15% PDF and 5 att. Is the potential on superior gollux items far better than the reinforced or what? Because I'm debating whether or not to scroll and enhance a reinforced set and just sell the superior earrings/ring.
Marriage and Amoria Pq I got maple-married in '09 (lol) and Amoria PQ used to be so popular due to the chance of obtaining the coveted onyx apple... but I'm guessing that Amoria PQ is long gone, correct? It's been a while since I've played and everyone seems to only care about bossing these days. My question is, what can a married person in maple even do anymore? My "partner" (lool) stopped playing years ago, so I can't lounge around with the effect hovering between us, and idk, it just feels saddening knowing that I will probably never APQ again :( :~( Nexon should release more benefits for married people in MS.
Attack on Titan Odm Skill not working I checked everywhere and I can't find the skill(s) I am supposed to have. Any other people or evans having a similar problem?
F/p vs. I/l I think I've tried out every single class since I've been playing in '06, except some branches of explorers. I have yet to try a F/P or I/L mage, and I want to dedicate my time and money on one of them (I've already made a bishop). Which one is more fun overall and which one is stronger bossing-wise, better at mobbing, etc? Which is faster to level up? I can't wait to use magic claw again :D
Are Mihiles fun/strong? I have one more character slot left and I have yet to get the Mihile link skill because hey, why not. A lot of people say that they are ok mobbers, but how is the gameplay in general?
Android Question Hey guys, I recently started playing maple again and I was wondering what the cheapest/fastest way to getting an android (male or female) is? I have a mechanical heart equipped, but the stats won't show unless I have an android equipped. There are so many different types of androids and I don't know which one to look for using Owl of Minerva. Any suggestions? (the khaini free market is pretty dead)
Giving to Others Hey guys, it's July! :) I just wanted to share an idea I came across today. What if once in a while- maybe once a year, a month, a week, or even every day, instead of spending ____ amount of NX on your character(s), [b]you used that money to positively help those in need, your friends, your family, or even a complete stranger?[/b] I don't know about you guys, but when I think of all the NX I've spent over the years, (and no, I'm not proud of it) I can't help but think, [i]if I used this money differently, what would change?[/i] Would a homeless person have gone one less day going hungry? Would I turn my mother's horrible day into a good one by treating her out to dinner? Or, [b]would I inspire another person to give selfles
Need help from pro merchers I saw a Pink Adventurer Cape in the FM for 1.5 bil, and I bought it. The stats are: 8 attack, 2 luk, 1 hammer used, 0 slots left. 3 lines unique: 4% all stat, 2% all stat, and 4% dex. Is this a good deal? How much can I resell this for? Thanks for any and all help. :)
Unleashed rings and tempest pendants? How can I get one, and how much do they cost in the FM? I saw one for 99m but I don't know if it's worth it or not... Also, did 6% STR tempest items deflate? They were peaking at 100m and now they're around 40~60m in Khaini. Any and all help is appreciated :) P.S I'm making this thread again because I was unaware people couldn't comment on threads yesterday
Azwan amp the attendance event Which mode of azwan has the most spawn of monsters that count towards the daily 300 monsters for the attendance event? Supply mode doesn't count towards my daily kills. Any idea? EDIT: the ampersand in the title got changed to "amp" :p
3 star enhancement scrolls? I'm planning on buying a 3 star enhancement scroll, but all I can find are 2 star enhancement scrolls in the fm. Can someone tell me the price of them, and are they available via gachapon?
Stupid is as stupid does. Yesterday, Ch 1 Khaini crashed for about 10 minutes or so, so when Ch 1 came up, the fm flooded as people were trying to secure a spot in FMs 1-6. I was managed to get a spot in FM 3. In all this haste, I didn't pay perfect attention to the prices I was setting my items at and 5 minutes after I opened my shop, I realized that instead of placing an 18 ATT clean Dragon Khanjar at 1.3b (for auto win), I set it at 130,000,000. :( :( :( I missed a digit. Have you ever done something as stupid as this or is it just me? :p
Vip Hair Coupon? I recently went through hair salons in Victoria Island and I found a hairstyle I didn't see before that I want. Is there a way to get another Hair Coupon from Tot's or anywhere else? I already did Tot's quest for Changing Hair and Face and I let the coupon expire so I could complete the quest. Or should I just do surveys?
