Some Science Help, Please? A question in my textbook asks the following question: An object is placed 8.0cm in front of a convex mirror that has a radius of curvature of 8.0cm. What is the magnification of this object? Would the focal point/length in this case be 4.0cm? And the answer I get is -1, but the correct answer is 0.33. I have absolutely no idea how to get this answer. I would really appreciate some help here, thank you. To refresh people's minds, to get magnification: m = hi/ho = -di/do EDIT: I still don't know how to solve it, but thank you to the supporters.

Does anyone know where to watch the Olympics online?Canada I'm from Canada, and the coverage here of the most important sport, basketball, is barely even being televised since this is country loves hockey even though there isn't hockey in these games. I tried the NBC Olympics website already but it's only for people in the United States, which is awful.

High School Science Homework Help Please I've got two questions about temperature, and I can't solve them no matter how much I try. So, I would really appreciate it if someone would kindly help me out here, thanks. Anyway, here are the two questions: 1.What is the final temperature of a 0.200kg clear liquid(c=3.47x10^3 J/kg*°C) at an original temperature of 20.0°C when it gains 2.50x10^4J of heat? 2.A student did an experiment to determine the specific heat capacity of an unknown metal. She heated 0.352 kg of the metal to 215°C and quickly placed it in an insulated container (negligible specific heat capacity) that contained 0.265 kg of water at a temperature of 26.0°C. If the final temperature of the water is 33.0°

I need help for an easy Physics Question I know everyone will think I'm dumb because I can't even answer this simple Physics Question, but can I still get some help as to how to answer it? Please, I would really appreciate it. Here is the question: If you drop a coin from a height of 9.5m, how fast will it be traveling when it reaches the ground? Somehow on the answer sheet it says 13.7m/s, but I don't even know how to get this answer. Shouldn't you have to multiply gravity by the height to get the velocity? That equals -93.1m/s, but that can't be the right answer.

Physics 11 Homework Need Help Again Please I keep getting the wrong answer, so I'll leave it to you guys to figure it out. The question is: An object is pulled along a horizontal frictionless surface with a steady horizontal force of 12.0N. If the object accelerates from rest to a velocity of 4.0m/s while moving 5.0m, what is the mass of the object? I keep getting 3.75kg which is wrong because the real answer is 7.5kg. I need to know how you guys got the answer I would really appreciate it, thanks.

Re-Installing Adobe Flash Player after every reboot Recently, I realized that I had to keep installing Flash for every time I restart my laptop. This never happened to me before and I really need help because I hate having to go to YouTube and realize that I have to install Flash(after restarting of course). What should I do? Someone please help, I've checked online but their answers aren't that helpful. </3 :~( o.o NOTE: I've already tried uninstalling and installing Flash, it doesn't work, or do I have to delete all of my flash stuff? I don't know. Oh yeah, this all actually happened after I downloaded and installed DC Universe Online.
