I have. Today.
Cubing my EW8, this is what I got with 3 cubes in a row.
first : 12% STR, 8% STR, 8% STR
second : 12% LUK, 8% LUK, 8% LUK
third : 12% STR, 8% DEX, 8% DEX
So... ever have something like this happen to you?

I'm not serious about creating it but it is what I believe.
Well I really don't care about any misfortune that happened to me in Maplestory. I mean it's just a game right? But in real life, I get that God's-screwing-with my-life feeling all the time.
I have 85 base LUK and still would've only gotten about 25 LUK from the second Potential.

I wasn't really making this about religion, I've just thought of it as something of a saying.. guess it was a bad one. Anyways, I plan on making my own religion later. It'll be based around the fact that I don't know and I can accept that.

I also feel you, i wanted 30% boss dmg. i got it after about 6-10 cubes (already unique), but it gave me 9% magic .-.

Let me take the time to write you a mini-guide while I should be working on college apps.
Items, when dropped, may or may not have a hidden potential. If they don't, sucks to be you. You can force-induce a potential by using a 70/90% potential scroll. If it fails, the item explodes, so it's risky.
Assuming your item has potential, you can magnify that potential, thus revealing it, with magnifying glasses sold by potion-selling NPC's.
If you dislike the potential you've gained, you can buy a Miracle Cube from the cash shop for 1.2k nx which turns your item's potential back into a hidden one, effectively resetting the potential.
-Warning: the number of lines of potential you get never changes. Don't try.
Potentials can either be Rare, Epic, or Unique, in that hierarchy. Obviously, the higher it is, the better potentials you can get.
The amount of stat boosts you can get are determined by what level the item is.
This table may or may not make sense to you. Ask me to explain if necessary.
Rare/Epic/Unique
Lv1-30: 1/2/3%
31-70: 2/4/6%
71-120: 3/6/9%
121+: 4/8/12%
These are for %stat/hp/mp/avoid/acc/def/mdef boosts only. I really don't understand how +stat boosts work.
When you cube an item, it'll either stay at the same level (rare, epic, unique) or increase a level. It'll never go down, thankfully.
When your item is at a higher level (like epic or unique) it still can get the lower level's % boost.
Ex: If you have an epic lv25 item with potential, it can have 2% AND 1%.
......Hm. That sounded a lot clearer in my head. You can probably disregard this last paragraph, it seems like common sense.

The issue is that Im getting GREAT stats for every class BUT MINE, and it's a wand so I need INT%.
It's a sad day for me.
