to make things clear, i already have a 3 line vip thief shield.
and yes my dkhanjar is still 33attack u'h unpot. also i've decided to stick to
vip thief shield, once i finish few more gear (belt,branch nose) imma work on my vip thief shield.
the moment it out-damage even by 1 range my 33attack dkhanjar. ill sell it for NX.

my thoughts might change by then, but who knows.

@itay07734: Basically, he said that 19 atk>7% luk. Even with an apple added in, your damage range will be higher with the dkahnjar.

I like all this math calculations however u could make it way simple like saying

7% luk < or > 19wep attack @ lvl 200

Dkhanjar.

Say you have 1000 total LUK, 160 total DEX, 75 total STR (DEX, STR will remain constant throughout), 250 total attack and +100%LUK when using your +21%LUK (9/6/6) 37 attack Dkhanjar. After adding +%LUK you have 2000 LUK. Take your 18 attack VIP shield with its +28%LUK (12/8/8) , so subtract 19 attack (difference between the shields) for 231 attack and add +7% onto your +%LUK, giving +107%LUK and a total LUK after +%LUK of 2070 (1000+1070).

Plugging the Dkhanjar values (250 attack, 2000 LUK, 160 DEX, 75 STR) into an accurate damage calculator gives: 10307 ~ 18587
Plugging the VIP Thief Shield values (231 attack, 2070 LUK, 160 DEX, 75 STR) into the same accurate damage calculator gives: 9838 ~ 17756

Dkhanjar wins by 469 ~ 831. Arbitrarily adding 1000 LUK off equips shows the gap just gets larger as 1 attack becomes worth more and more with more added LUK. The LUK gain off the extra +7%LUK still adds the same amount of LUK as it did before because +%LUK bonuses are additive.

+21%LUK/37 attack Dkhanjar with 3000 LUK: 15167 ~ 27587
+28%LUK/18 attack VIP Shield with 3070 LUK: 14329 ~ 26072

Now the margin is even bigger, at 838 ~ 1515. Well, maybe an apple will change things seeing as I just said the more LUK you have the more 1 attack is worth and you have more LUK with the VIP shield:

+21%LUK/37 attack Dkhanjar with 3000 LUK + apple (total 350 attack): 21234 ~ 38622
+28%LUK/18 attack VIP Shield with 3070 LUK + apple (total 331 attack): 20532 ~ 37359

Nope. Dkhanjar wins again by 702 ~ 1263 (note the smaller margin). I did make the numbers up on the spot based on what I thought a high end Shadower would have, but hopefully it makes sense.

VIP thief shield = it's already 3 lines. and imma make it into 18 attack.
my dkhanjar is 33attack 2 slots , so it can be 37attack lets say.

Basically the math question is,
121+ potential vs 71-120 potential+19attack.

The Dkhanjar is without question the superior option damage-wise (the extra 15-19 attack on the Dkhanjar means alot more than the potential 7% extra LUK on the VIP once you have tons of LUK anyway), but unless you have huge backup funding, you only really have 1 shot at it. Alternative would be to sell your Dkhanjar (I'm sure you could get a ton for it) and pote clean 16+ attack ones (there seems to be a fair few in the MTS as of current) until you get a few with 3-lines, then scroll those. The dkjanjar could get 2 9% values just like the VIP shield could get 2 12% ones though

well it's basically 18 attack vs 37 attack.
just the 37 can't go higher than 21% while the VIP can be like
12812? or 1288 things like that.
and like i stated my dkhanjar can be 2linesBOOM.

thought about trading my dkhanjar for a 3line one.. but what would be best for my level 200 shadower?..

i think i vip shield would be slightly better, if it works like the other potentials, it probably could be possible
