Isn't HS 1.5x exp?
Hey basil well today I was buying HS from someone and when I got it I realized I wasn't getting 1.5x exp. I was killing ghost pirates and originally I get 1649 exp and with HS I was only getting 1819 exp =O That's like 1.1x not 1.5x. I was wondering if this was happening to anyone else OR if it was because the priest was level 97 and the monsters are 110. I thought maybe since the priest wasn't getting any exp at all the HS rate was dropped or something. I don't really know lol but if anyone can tell me what was going on I'd greatly appreciate it. I think they may have changed it as of recent, because in the past it was 3+ party members, and of course, all had to be receiving benefits of party (able to leech).
Anyways, yeah, it's all levels. The party must be within 5 levels of the monster, or 5 levels of eachother/something of the lines in order to leech (?).
lvl 97 priest don't leech, therefore you dont get 1.5x hs bonus. you get 1.1x, which is solo exp with hs without a leeching party member.
you need a party member who is able to leech exp in order to get the 1.5x bonus.

You have to be "partied" and in those terms, the Priest has to be getting benefits from the party. Since he isn't able to leech any exp, the party mind as well be void.
HS' description says: For full effect, must be in a party.
That's how it is on my Priest, so I guess he'll have to level a bit more.
Also you need to be in a party of 3 who all "leech"
The priest was taking some of the exp from your kills.
