I think its the ability to stay on the ladder without falling off when your hit.
And I always thought it determines your experience in doing "stuff".
Hands is your luck + Strength + Dexterity put together. Some believe it is another way of determining your accuracy. Others believe it is useless.Right now i just saw the theory of being able to stick on a ladder/rope after getting hit... hm
the purpose stats "hands" is when you are hanging on a rope and monster hit you that stats determinate if you fall or notmaybe im wrong i don't know
u can only achieve the thought bubble with the DC: basil desktop chaos body part cursed scrolls, a doy =]

I though "hands" had to do something with the time you can use an attack in a row ( I mean Hold down your attack button and your charakter will rest after some time). It's only a guess though
