There's just a single popup saying it may not be compatible which pretty much goes away after like the first try. That list isn't entirely accurate. Who compares AVG 7.1? 7.5 has been out for like a year, and now 8.0 is out. A number of items on the list are probably either outdated or newer versions are available. Most of the legitness of the compatibility bandwagons claims fell off a cliff within six months of Vista's release as different companies updated their software. DRM on vista really doesn't do much to the individual at all. I can still play whatever content I pretty much want. One tends to forget that XP also resulted in a significantly higher hardware requirement set than 2000 which was before it. It's what I like to call progress. New hardware is created, then new software is produced to make use of it. It's the same thing that's been happening for the last 20 years. Only thing is, people whine about a new OS every time one is released, forgetting that the current one that they've grown so used to, they also complained about originally.
