I love the way you drew the openings in her robe (the neck area, the parts that lead into the arm areas, etc.) It looks like you were going for a chibi style with this. Try to make the hands a bit larger next time, and when you do the staff and you want to make a crisp straight line, try doing it in a single quick stroke, instead of carefully attempting to make a straight line. It's somehow easier that way. Or just use a ruler. Whatever works. xD Anyway, grats to your friend. :D
