No. The item is destroyed if the scroll fails, which is at a 40% rate. Moreover, even if the scroll succeeds, there is only a 50% chance that the effects will be positive, which means the scroll basically works like a 30% dark scroll, but with just 30% of it just failing (and decreasing the stats) and 40% of it destroying the item. |
