Well I think the US is over there out of greed (oil, which there is no mass substitute for and not easily boycotted, lol), but also out of fear, they seem to me to be exerting a lot of force in the world right now, trying to remind everyone of American dominance. Fear of China mostly I suppose which will soon the bona fide world's superpower. Then there's all the stuff we don't see, like what really goes on in those Bilderberg meetings hm?
