Just because it seems unbelievable that he succeeded in white scrolling an item with all 30% scrolls does not make it "scroll hacked" like other people said before. Packet is NOT illegal because packets are being sent to and from your computer which informs the server what happens and what doesn't. You can repeat packets, stop packets, and change packets to do what you encode them to do. It is NOT messing up their files, only giving their server edited or recorded packets. Even if it was illegal, doing so would not get your computer blocked from their server. They can either block your Nexon account or block your IP from accessing their server which can be bypassed via proxy or IP reset, depending on which IP they block. You CAN NOT get sued by packet editing the packets you send or recieve to and from the game server. As said earlier, you are not changing or editing their game files but merely the server information. I never assumed you hacked. I only assumed the person I quoted earlier hacked because of the usage of "x]" and "=[" that implied they they were emotionaly distressed because they want to packet edit but are afraid of getting sued or sent to prison. YOU don't make assumptions. Lastly, if people cannot conclude that the earrings had 6 slots from the common knowledge of DEX Earring 30% scrolls giving +3 DEX, or any other 10% or 30% scroll for attributes giving +3 STR/DEX/INT, then they deserve to be flamed for ignorancy in my opinion. Please refer to my post 3 pages back if I missed anything.

Packets technically belong to your computer, so it's a gray area in the law. And no, Nexon can't block your computer. They can block your IP address, but that's easy to get around. Well, Nexon could download a file onto your computer to make it incapable of using MS, but they WOULD get sued for that.
