that feeling when

you're selling an item and someone bids which is higher than the current offer, which was already pretty high for the item, which leads to the previous current offer to drop out of the bidding ... but the new current offer eventually retracts his/her offer and you have to go back to original person and try to convince him/her that it wasn't a fake offer and you weren't attempting to extort him/her for more. Then he/she'll question your motives and ultimately decide he/she doesn't want the item anymore ... which means you need to start the whole bidding process again, sigh.

anyone else know this feeling

Yeah its a big problem. You'd have to start over the whole time consuming process.
It doesnt help if you go back to the original buyer because you just come off as a sly merchant trying to pull something off. So how do you fix it?

One thing that worked (for me at least and maybe even you) was that when i had a higher offer, i just tell 1st offer guy (GuyA) that 2nd offer guy (GuyB) offered higher and if anything happens, he (GuyA) will be the runner up. If GuyB doesnt buy in X days, GuyA will get it. Then i ask how they feel about it.
Usually they say okay.
Now he has a choice. he can bid higher or wait. Control is totally in GuyA. And thats what buyers (or anyone) like. Control of the situation.

that feeling when you have nothing to sell so you go to a guy and try and sell him your pots but he doesn't want to get caught with the stuff cuz it takes up inv space and so you try and sell it to some other guy who you think is low level but it turns out hes a narc from NexonHQ and you have to get away but you don't have enough mp for tele and the narc has all your pots so you get caught and hellbanned.

Lol, this would actually irritate me. I would suspect the same thing only now i would think you are trying to trick me into feeling like i have control. I'd probably say something like, "do what you gotta do man, i hope you enjoy your process ;P"
