It's a camp called "Jesus camp" which pretty much brainwashes children into christianity.

Now I know that THIS is not christianity. It's insanity

I'd like to hear your opinion basilmons. Especially from people who are christian.

I went to a bible camp when I was 12 or 13, it was actually really fun. I grew up in a very strict religious home, couldn't watch TV or listen to secular music on Saturday, couldn't play violent video games till I was 17, wasn't allowed to eat pork, my parents couldn't drink alcohol, no tattoos, no jewelry...lots of rules. Would I change a thing? Absolutely not. That strict upbringing made me the content laid back man I am today. Our family doesn't go to church anymore, so right now we're just a normal family.

About the bible camp. We had bible study every night, but it was mainly a hangout with all my friends. We canoed, BMX'd, shot bow and arrows, but I had a great time. It wasn't the extreme thing you saw in the video.
Allow me to educate you, you are in dire need of it.

See what I find annoying, not as a follower of religious figurehead, but as in common sense is people like you. What if my sister is going to believe in the tooth fairy, is that going to hurt anyone? No. There's right wing nuts on both sides of the spectrum, that make us look good and bad, making such generalization is in fact ignorant. I'd rather deal with a christian than an Athiest because christians are actually optimistic, athiests are just pessimistic whiners who boast about their beliefs more than who they mock.

Religion instuitited the earliers forms of "order". There are people who abused such power, such as the Nazi party, (though not religious). The teachings that religion initially enforce is the same crap on Seseme street. People like having faith that there's a "big brother" it's a security, and it's pretty obnoxious of you to be so disrespectful because you lack any kind of social tolerance.

Of course like every other power it was used as a shield to hid corruption of other figure heads, no matter what the reasoning just so they are hidden. Now you can sit here and rant too me how christians so many bad things, but I'd ask you to kindly look at any group/religioun tell me how clean their rep is. But before trying to defile a belief maybe you should actually understand it past of what you were fed off the ignorance of the internet.
It's the internet, it's a forum, it's his opinion, get over it.

You didn't have to write a 1/4 page essay for him to understand. He wont change what he thinks about it anyways.

Just sayin', that was pretty unnecessary

Actually you can just disregard what you said above. I never boasted about my atheism nor am I atheist in that matter.
You were just quick to assume such a thing because you were ignorant to read for deeper meaning. Did it ever occur to you that I may be a Buddhist?

Didn't I mention how Christianity is ingrained into society?
Did I ever mention that I only stated that you were going off-topic?
Did you ever mention that I was being ignorant?

Heck, if you want to attack people on an internet forum when they never said anything about you, go ahead.
Do you see how your story is full of flaws?

Not saying that the whole christian religion is a cult. This kind of tuition is a cult

@above
they were probably forced by their parents and eventually started to "like" doing it

I wonder how many of those kids were forced to be there, and how many wanted to be there...
I'm just going to assume that none of them actually wanted to be there.

EDIT: I was watching it with transcribed audio on, and this came up. I laughed so hard.

Religion is the biggest scam in the history of mankind.

Their philosophy?
http://english.martinvarsavsky.net/christianity-thumb.jpg

Their source of income?
Tax-free donations made by people all over the world.

Their success?
The most profitable and stable business ever.

Their feelings?
They laugh at you for being so gullible and that they are more superior to you for believing their little stories that have been ingrained into society for far too long.
