Rofl. When archmages and bishops were the sheet, everyone at gallopera's would fear whenever they saw one change channels into their channels.

One day, I decided to go scar for the lulz. Obviously you have to go to gallopera's spawning place in order to enter the boss place. My pixels, after materializing, went teleport all the way to the right, (at this time, no teleport mastery since it was Pre-BB patch) and then I notice this dude following me all the way around the map saying CC PLZ, CC NOW. I'm like, wtf chill dude I'm not even killing. Seriously what's wrong with these people.

But yeah I remember, when I was bored, I used to like to intimidate people by the fact that I was an archmage, by changing channels and going to the middle of the map (where you stand in some kind of targa looking thing in order to not get hit, and where archmages and bishops usually used to spam their ultimates) and stand there doing absolutely nothing but enjoy the priceless reactions of the people there.

I HATE when I walk into a map, see it's full and as I am walking to a safe spot someone will automatically go "cc" or when I finally find a map with just one person on it, and he/she goes "cc plz" It's one freakin' person on the map, can't you share? I'm not going to KS, I'm not going to loot your items... god.

What I love the most is when i go into a channel, and someone actually says "Change Channels please." At least they typed the entire thing out, and asked nicely. I always type the entire thing out, and it has always worked for me. .-. I guess most people in Zenith are just nice like that... although you do occasionally run into someone who is as dumb as the person in the Screen shot, or cannot speak proper English, or just chooses to be a complete asshole about things.

Next time you want someone to change channels please, please, please ask them nicely, type the entire thing out. Do not short form it thinking it is saving you time, and see if they change channels.

Here's a test for you guys to try out: Next time you have a map, that's a little crowded (Lets say Jesters can hold like 4-5 people before it gets to a ks war) Ask the person to "Change Channels please." See if they change channels.

I enter a map:
Him: cc
Me: Do you really need the whole map?
Him: cc
Him: cc
Me: Do you wanna party?
Him: que?
Me: Quieres entrenar conmigo?
Him: Porque?
Me: Porque todos los cannales estan llenos
Him: Hey cc plox
Me: You can't really speak Spanish can you....?
So I stood there for a while killing the mobs that he could barely kill ever so slowly, while not killing anywhere around him.

i remember one day at truckers a dw and a db were having a ks war (pre resistance)
it was funny

OT: once i found a place in truckers preresistance and then a guy came along and started hanging on the ladder on the left side of the map
when monsters came near him he killed em
after about 5min of that (cuz i only had the bottom) i asked him to "please cc"
he said it was his because his friend had given it to him when his friend had left
i was like "o sorry i'll cc"
communication makes a BIG difference

this is the thing that piss me off......
i understand the people that are saying "i get told to cc before they land" that's a very valid excuse to
be pissed off and ks the person.
Its seems like im the only person with sense around here.....Why do you people think you have the right
to make me ask you "please" to get out of my map.
If i say "CC" or even "Get the hell out of my my channel and CC Noob Hoe" You get out you don't sit/ks the person because you think people are obligated to
ask you please that's just the most ridiculous thing Ive heard in my life. Why must i plead to you to get off "my map" while im training?
If it was real life and someone crosses me and i ask them to stop if i said please or not,if they dont im going to knock there ass out simple as that.
So for all you ______ out there i hope you read this and really take in consideration no one owes you a please just so you can leave while there training
not bothering anyone in the world but evil hateful people come and antagonize people just because they can -_-
how do you defame a guild?
Send this into mythbusters!

OT: I just politely wait... if they leave before long i dont' say anything. If not i kindly ask them to change channels. What i really hate is when you're lookin for a ch of monsters that are very populated. And the second you get in there there is that one person thats just like "CC!" "CC NAO!" and you just sit there to piss em off even more

When someone comes into my ch and starts ksing I don't say a word. I keep on killing until they leave. occasionally hitting their mob so the some exp would leech to me. They rage then leave. Works every time

"cc"
"cc what?"
"cc"
"cant you add a please at the end?"
"No Hablo mucho en ingles"
"se puede decir por favor"
"Nono tu cc"

Do what I do, I usually have these lines copied just ready to be pasted: "Could you change channels, please?". Of course I let them enter in my map and look around, because maybe they want to check damage ranges, how is the party or how am I killing the monsters. I wouldn't say anything if they are just standing there. But if the person kills all the monsters on its way even if it's to reach the platform to CC, I would just paste that sentence.

However, you will always face people who will just ignore you. So what I do is bring my Bishop who's ready to out KS them while I still try to explain why they should CC giving good reasonings. Eventually they will say sorry and then disappear. XD

@DarkQuill: I highly doubt that everyone who doesn't include a "please" is purposely doing it just to look like a complete jerk. But anyway, I could care less what anyone actually DOES, I'm just saying that I don't see much point to even just standing there. I mean, in the end, you might make them angry, but aren't you just wasting your own time as well? I know if I say "change channels" and forget to include a please (which I don't think I've ever done), it wouldn't bug me if the person just stayed on the map. It just doesn't seem very effective. But I guess that's just my opinion.
Nothing I said was a personal attack towards you, but you are twisting my words and making it that way.
I twisted nothing. That's the way I've interpreted your comment, because that's the way it looks.
Sure KSing them back or swearing at them isn't the answer, but even so, a simple "how rude, try to be more polite next time" while leaving the map will net you another immediate "CC NUB". Always.

Standing there doing nothing is the perfect way to get back at them. It annoys them that a complete stranger isn't obeying their demands, it breaks no rules of the game, or any ettiquete for that matter, and just goes to show how important someone's e-ego is to them.
They need to learn they can't always have things their way. One day it'll sink in.

@DarkQuill: Technically, if you are angering someone knowingly and willingly, then yes you are being rude. But that's not my point. IF you read my original post properly, you would have noticed that I was referring to people who are like "YOU CAN'T BE POLITE! I KS YOU NOW!". Nothing I said was a personal attack towards you, but you are twisting my words and making it that way. I am stating a fact that people who go on about people not spelling out "change channels" and start ksing, swearing, etc. are really being rude themselves.

@Tobiaz: I LOLED.
So I'm rude because I'd stand still and do/say nothing? Standing on a ledge watching someone kill enemies is rude? Watching someone get annoyed over nothing is rude?
If you want to talk about being rude, maybe you should start with that comment you just made.

You just contradicted yourself. Like you said, it's "Treat others the way you want to be treated," not "Treat others the way you want to be treated, and if they don't treat you that way back, become a total jerk." The point of that statement is to always treat someone the way you would like to be treated, even if they don't treat you that way back. And like I said, you are only proving that you equally just as rude, or possibly even more.
